These little chisels are great for small projects, razor sharp and holds sharpness a long time. Stubby handles allows great pressured leverage with comfort on the piece you're working on regardless the wood (as long as it's not super hard--in which case, doubt any chisels would cut easily through hard woods). Small, medium and large sets make it easy to decide which to use for the effects desired. Carved some small artwork sketchings into pine and notches on walking cane. Did other smaller projects, it takes time (as opposed to machined carvings), but the result was just fine and fun!

Thought this was a perfect set of tools for my job but as soon as I started using it one broke twice the others are barely managing as they are losing edges quickly.then one of the knife point broke which is a bit disappointing for me

Great set for the price! Definitely not professional grade tools, but compared to other sets for the same price these are pretty good. Great for a starter set or spare set. Sharp out of the box. Like many new tools, a bit of tuning may be needed. Would be good for soft and green woods but maybe not hard woods, although I tested them on a dry piece of maple and they held up ok. Best set for the price that i have seen.
