I bought this originally because it was cheap. But i'm impressed I used to be a appliance specialist for a local company and this is way better quality than what I've seen. It's thick and flexible the clamps are good as well. Typical dryer vent is supposed to be changed every 6months. This I say probably two years but clean it out every 6months still

I found a cheep used portable A/C unit. However it didn't have any mounting hardware or duct hose. A piece of plywood with a hole cut out for the window and this awesome air duct and clamp solved the problem. One of the advantages was the long length of the hose. No moving furniture around in order to get the A/C close enough to the window! The duct work is also more stable and also durable than the plastic hose on the other portable unit we have. Its over 90 today and I will be able to get some sleep tonight!

The metal sealing clamps are extremely difficult to tighten to the extent that the screwdriver slipped out of my hand almost every other screw turn. One I couldn't even get to go all the way. The host itself is good and well insulated but VERY easily moved - when my ac would turn on and the exhaust started to fill the hose, it would move significantly and I had to make sure it was positioned in a way that it wouldn't fly all over the place.

Product worked fine for what I needed it for which is a model spray booth. Having the extra layer of vinyl wrapped on the exterior helps prevent punctures. I was able to cut it in half from the inlet and exhaust portion of my Vivosun fan without any issues. Much better than a standard laundry ducting.

While this is clearly marketed as a product for 'indoor gardening', don't be deterred as to the quality.

I used this on a bypass humidifier for a home HVAC system, and during the cold months condensation would occur at times due to lack of thermal insulation on the flexi-duct used to vent air from it.

This, however, is extremely good at thermal insulation and there's very little heat transfer to cooler air or vice versa causing condensation. The quality of the product seems exceptional. Very durable, tough to accidentally tear or cut into, still flexible.

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this whatsoever.
