Critical design flaw - water trapped in hollow metal handle

This spoon has a critical design flaw: the metal handle is hollow, and water gets trapped inside when you put it through the dishwasher. You can hear the trapped water sloshing around when you shake the spoon, and sometimes the trapped water drips out of the handle. This is unsanitary and totally unacceptable. It is a shame that this spoon has this critical design flaw, because the size and shape of the spoon are good, but it is unusable because of this flaw. I threw it in the garbage.

Bought this for my Instant Pot pressure cooker. The silicon ladle is no worries for use on the non-stick surface of the pot. And it's built solidly with a nice little curve to the handle to fit the hand well. And it does a nice job skimming the fat off the top of stews and broth.

I love silicon kitchen products, and this one didn't disappoint. The length of the handle and size of the ladle bowl are perfect for things like soups and stews and even pancake batter. I've even used it for chilli and it didn't stain a bit. I also like that it has a little metal loop to hang it with. As far as I can see, there's not a thing wrong with it. I don't usually have a reason to recommend ladles to people, but if I did I wouldn't think twice about recommending this one.
