Great for the price. Hate that it switches setting every time it is turned off. Would like to see it retain the setting you were previously using.

Received the orange cap model, it does not have high/low/strobe modes, just a simple on and off. I was very happy with how bright the led is and the ones I received work on a single AA battery. Can't beat the price however, item took 55 days to arrive from china (9 days after the estimated time) but seller did fully refund the purchase. Would be 5 stars if not for the shipping and the lack of advertised function modes.

Bright and worth the money, but I doubt that its 1200 lumens. This is a nice bright unit, and its compact. Battery lasts a very long time. You cant go wrong for the price, i would not hesitate to buy or recommend.
I have bought 2 other models (3 total models) that I can compare to this one for you.
1. (Other Unit I bought) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ECVB6P0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this item represents itself as 1000 lumens. I have tested both of them and swapped batteries while testing and used an identical battery in both units. Thiis Outlite was brighter. Construction, fit and finish were nearly identical. Price is about the same.
2. (THE FLASHLIGHT IM REVIEWING) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X0QFZ06/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This item is a great value, but not as bright as this Outlite. At the time of writing this review it included 2 flashlights as a combo buy - $8.50 for both flashlights (without batteries) If you buy 18650 battery and charger as well its a pretty good deal. Its pretty bright, just not quite as bright, close though. This item represents itself as 1200 lumens, which I doubt because the Outlite A100 says its a 900 Lumen and is brighter than this 900 Lumen flashlight.
This flashlight is smaller than the Outlite by about 1 inch. By the way, the battery and charger combo i bought was: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017T6W9EC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it included 4 batteries and charger for 12.99.
3. (Other Flashlight I bought) https://www.amazon.com/Outlite-Handheld-Flashlight-Portable-Tactical/dp/B00VZT2WP6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473084175&sr=8-2&keywords=Outlite+A100+900+Lumens This unit is a amazon best seller and represents 900 lumens. It was the brightest of all 3. I would recommend this unit over the 1st one. I would say that if you want 1 good flashlight that fits in your hand perfectly get this Outlite, if you want more than 1 flashlight and dont mind the smaller size (does not fit in hand) Get the Ultrafire SK 98 because its a combo and you cant beat the price and brightness.
All these units look and operate similar, but the Outlite was the brightest, and the Ultrafire SK98 was the best value.
