I hate to doing these one stars, because it might be a good product, but I got a bad one and was basically told, "Too bad". Yes, I can go to the shipping place and send it back at my expense. I could even understand that attitude if it ran for 8 months and then died,
But this died after 2 weeks. The ultra violet light went out. Also, I don't think the ozone ever worked. I have used Alpine air purifiers (the model these knockoffs are copying) for probably 20 years. I am fully aware of how they work and smell. This one never produced any ozone smell.
I knew this wouldn't be a lifetime investement. I was just thinking, if I get a year out of it, it will be worth it, because Alpines cost about this much to get repaired. But 2 weeks? And then I'm told I pay to ship it back under warranty. That's crap and It's not even worth my time and trouble.
Horrible attitude by the company.
On a related topic, ozone is NOT dangerous to your health in small amounts. It is one of the main ingredients in healthy outdoor air. If you have a fire in your home, the restoration companies use ozone at MASSIVE levels to get rid of the burned smell. Those levels will HURT you, but they are thousands or millions of times higher than normal. But tiny levels where you can't quite smell the ozone, but the air just seems fresh are good for you. It's like saying water is really bad for you because people drown. The right amount of water is necessary for life, too much and you die. Ozone is natures white blood cells of the air to break down impurities in the air. I have been living with low level ozone for decades because our house is too musty to live in without it. No problems at all.

This is an extremely nice filter. I purchased this for my office, but it was so nice that I left it at home, and purchased a second one for the office. This has several layers of filtering, which was not that clear to me in the description, but it does have a reasonably decent HEPA filter that pulls dust out of the air. It is a very attractive item, which I hadn't considered when I was researching, but now that I have it, I appreciate how nice this looks in my living space.

I'm amazed that this small system can clear smoke Oder in less than an hour of treatment. For indoor smokers, not a bad idea to invest in this machine (or similar air purifiers). Watch out for the ozone smell. There are questions and concerns about the safety of using this treatment. I could feel dizzy and agitated by small exposure to it, you can accidentally leave it on when you sleep. Does a decent job on fan mode. Personally the noise doesn't bother me. Overall, a good product worth a purchase for indoor smokers.

I bought this item because I was hoping it would help with allergies... while it didn't...I'm not sure I even have allergies in the first place. This air purifier is Great quality in the physical look and is just a nice white noise in the background. I run it fairly constant and it shows no signs of wear. Very impressed and would buy another.
