Great Range of Motion
maslo1•August 30, 2017
This light is one of my favorite motion activated lights. I have it placed in my hallway because first thing in the morning, the hallway is dark and the light switch is on the other end. The light comes on when one of us enters the hallway and gives us plenty of time to get to the living room to turn on the light. (Before, we left the light on in the bedroom, walked down the hallway, turned on the living room light, walked back to the bedroom and turned off the light.) I had the light in the bathroom before but it was too bright for that small area. One of the things I do like about the light is that you can pivot it. It has a pretty good range of motion so the light does not have to be facing directly forward to catch the motion of the person entering the room. That is a plus because if you do put it in a small room like the bathroom, you don't have to have the bright light hit you as soon as you walk in. I am actually going to recommend this one to my boss for work. We have an area that needs to be lit up and there are no outlets. The light can be put in the "always on" position and I think it will work well for what we need.
Works Great So Far
Tony Moreno•April 21, 2017
So far these are working great. I bought four and have installed three so far. The first one I put on the porch, facing the front door, so when I open the door, it comes on instantly, and stays on long enough for the dog and I to get off the porch. After a couple weeks, I put the second one on the front part of the porch, but facing out, so as we return from our walk, we can see to get up onto the porch.
The third one I put above the normal light already on the front of the house. It comes on as we approach the house, and it comes on (sometimes at least) when I pull in and out of the garage. I think I will put the last one in the middle of the garage, or maybe on the other side of the garage.
They are not super bright, but they do illuminate the walking area, and are probably a deterrent to criminal activity. The reason I purchased them was to not have to leave the porch lights on all night. They will probably need to last a long time to make it worth the cost, compared to just leaving the porch lights on all night, and, depending on how long the batteries last, it may not prove to be worth it. Also, I had a ton of extra AA batteries I had bought at Costco that I probably would not have used up before they expired.

Perfect!!

This light is exactly what we were looking for, we needed something bright for when we get home and it's dark. The hassle of leaving the porch light on while we aren't home sucks. One it burns electricity and two we don't always remember to put it on so this makes our life so much easier. Another great thing is there are no wires to hook up, which is the best part about it!!
So far so good, have not had it long
C. Morgan•February 10, 2017
So far so good, have not had it long. The light is bright, the sensor works well and saves money since I don't have to leave the porch light on in case I get home after dark. Makes it easier to find key and unlock door. Hope the battery last a long time, had to go to this since my porch does not get sunlight and could not go with solar. I also like the fact that the light can be removed and used as a flashlight if you need it. I have a couple of solar lights that I am trying out to light the drive and sidewalk, but they are not really in an area that gets much sunlight, if they don't work out I will probably get more of these to use. I am not sure about the weather or water proof because I have it attached under an overhang on my porch. I also have a closet that does not have a light in it, I am thinking of getting one of these for it as well, it gives off very good amount of light.
