Love this coat - the style is classic but really cute and the fit is excellent in all the right places.
I wear about a size 12 currently and the XL was roomy enough for a heavy sweater underneath. It is a very slimming, complementary fit.
The only downside is that it is a cotton-like fabric on the outside, rather than a more nylon-like feel, and it tends to attract lint and dog hair.
However, it brushes off easily.
Also I actually machine washed it on cold, hand wash cycle and it came out beautifully. (no dryer).
Would give 5 stars if wearing it did not show I have a German Shepherd but everything else is great.
Recommend and well worth the $.

Bought through my husband's account. I typically wear a medium in tops and dresses (though usually larger for bottoms). I'm used to having to order way up for online sizing.. Based on some reviews (where people said they're usually medium-large, but the medium was great), I ordered medium. It fit perfectly. Just the right amount of room in shoulders, elbows, bust, waist, hips, etc. The belt helped create shape, so it wasn't just an odd tube. Very high quality, heavier fabric. Buttons come wrapped in paper. Buckles could've been a little better quality (not what you'd expect from a $100 coat.. At this price point, I think they could spend a little more on the buckles. But not a deal breaker. Still beautiful.

I WOULD have gladly kept it.. except it's the wrong color red for what I'm after. I'm actually buying for a Carmen San Diego costume. I already found a hat I'm in love with (the Verashome Fedora here on Amazon.. it's truly gorgeous, btw). Anyway, this wasn't the right red for that. It's too bright. I considered sending back the "blood red" hat I got, and trying their standard red. But.. one of the other coats I tried actually matched really closely to the hat.

IF I was really after a red trench coat for itself.. I'd definitely pick this one over some of the others I tried. As it stands, though, the hat was more important to me. :)

This is a nice, classic trench coat of decent quality. The fit is very flattering and the length is just right.
I'm 5'6 and between a Medium and Large. I chose a Medium and fits very comfortably- has extra room for a medium size, so I can wear a thick sweater underneath with no problem.

The CONS for me are these:
The coat I received is NOT TRUE RED. It's more like a raspberry colour. I'll attach the Pantone tone to give you an idea of what tone it is.
Some of the buttons are a bit loose, but nothing drastic.
It's a decent quality coat, but not really the kind of cotton thickness I'm used to in a trench, so it's a bit pricey.

PROS:
Gorgeous classic trench design.
The length was just perfect for my height and the design itself is quite figure-flattering.
Although I expeced a true cadmium red trench and got this raspberry one, I'm keeping it because I can use this colour in Springtime.

Overall, a good trench coat to have. A classic piece in any woman's wardrobe.

I'm a clothes snob. And I bought this to fill in while I save for the $800 rain jacket I really want. Which I might not ever buy now. It fits well"”like a much more expensive coat. I wore it in Paris and Barcelona. It was lovely. I was rained on A LOT and stayed dry. And warm. The buttons are a very high quality. It has a lot of nice little upgraded features. In my dreams it would be longer, but I'm 5'10 and it hit at mid thigh just like advertised. I weigh about 155. It was long enough for my arms and fit over two thin layers when I needed it to.

I walk between two elementary schools 4 times a day while pulling a cart of supplies so I needed a raincoat that would keep me dry even if I can't carry an umbrella. I am 5'3'' and the coat stops just above my knees. I ordered the large based on the size suggestions because I am in between medium and large. It is a little bit large compared to my ideal raincoat but that's to be expected for things that come in S, M and Large. The hood stays up even when I'm walking against the wind and it comes out past my face a bit so that my hair and face don't get wet. I read a few comments about the buttons being of poor quality and I would disagree. The buttons themselves are fine and they even have a smaller button sewn on the inside of each button which helps support the fabric. After a few weeks of wear, the buttons have loosened up so that it's easy to button and unbutton and it's possible that thread will stretch farther and break. Even if it does, this coat is still more than worth the money. Just get a needle and thread and sew them back on. Buttons are hard to do well with machine sewing and you won't get a coat with hand-sewn buttons for this cost. The fabric is much thicker than I expected and is very good quality. The seams are well done on the coat and the lining. It was 18 degrees out this morning and I was not cold wearing this and a long sleeve shirt. Again, very surprising from an inexpensive coat! My only complaint is that the straps around the wrists and the belt at the waist are very, very long. If I don't tie the belt, it bangs into the back of my calves. I will just cut them shorter and resew them but they could be much shorter in the original design. Overall this is a very good quality coat especially given the price. I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to others.
