Garbage! New batteries every 5 or 6 times you use it. If the thing doesn't have enough power the track will come out of it's case and then all your ties fall off!! I modified it with a 6 volt plug in power supply to prevent having to put in new batteries weekly but it's just JUNK....the track keeps falling off and now I have wires hanging off of it for power. BUYER BEWARE more CHINA junk.

I purchased this as a replacement for my old Sharper Image one which had served me well for 10 years.
After 3 months this model stopped working (rotating) and I am buying a new Sharper Image one.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. MOTOR THAT TURNS TIES ONLY LASTED 3 MONTHS. AND NOW I CANT RETURN IT. SERIOUSLY? AFTER 3 MONTTHS YOU CANT WARRANTY YOUR PRODUCT?? BAD BAD BAD. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND FIRM.
Speed issue.

Great as expected, my only reason for 4 star is that it moves way too fast. Would be great to either slow it down a bit or have 2 settings for speed. I filled up the whole rack with ties and when its moving I cant even see the ties going by so it takes me longer going back and forth. (I'm 27 with a good reaction, can't imagine older people dealing with this thing!)
Otherwise an amazing product.
P.S. advise for the manufaturer:
Either add 2 more buttons for slower speed or double tap feature to move a certain distance.

OMGosh, it was awful to put up. And it's such a simple product. I have a rod from a national hardware store, very common closet hanging system. The tie rack didn't fit. I had to rig it to fit, then secure with zip ties! What a pain! I only kept it because it's a nice product. Had a cheaper model so was able to compare. The hooks for the ties and this model are bigger which holds ties better. Forget using the belt hooks. Once you fill up the ties, there's is no room to get to them. I found this for the cheaper model too. This model is pretty quiet. Bigger then cheaper models, so a little heavier. If your not handy, and don't have a large rod, I would not recommend getting this tie rack.
