Great bulbs for a reasonable price!

I changed my 35w halogen bulbs in my landscape lighting to these 5w LED bulbs and I have a few observations. First, I really like the daylight color these 6500K bulbs produce. I was very surprised that these LED bulbs are three to four times brighter than the halogens I replaced. I had no defective bulbs in my box as some other reviewers claimed. Overall, a very happy customer!

I bought these lights to replace TRACK LIGHTING. Not landscape lighting. I have 2 different sets of track light in my house.
I want to set a couple of things straight, because I was concerned about the reviews before I bought these lights.
1. The light color. Yes, they are actually a bit green. But, only slightly. The thing that you really need to think about is that you are replacing 25-50 watt halogen bulbs. The halogens are HOT HOT HOT. They melt the lining in my track light casings. They also use a lot of energy because of that. My main goal was to replace a track that was using 100-200 watts to light up, to something that would be like 20 watts to light up. This product did just that.
2. I was concerned about the lights "flickering". Both track lights I have (one with 4 & one with 5) do just fine. As-a-matter-of-fact, I have one track that overheated and turned itself off. (Which apparently is a common problem.) Well, doesn't happen anymore.
The light that they put out is not a close match to the mega lumens that the halogens put out. But, hey... They're 4 Watt bulbs. Give me a break. Yes, just like in a couple of reviews, a couple of the lights had rims that were lose. But, I just screwed them back on and moved on with my life.
Bottom line, you can't beat the price. And, you can't beat the energy savings. I did a lot of research before I bought these by the way.

Working well for a comparatively great price

Very low spread on the light beam, but we have it used on a low 7ft ceiling in track lighting which puts the bulb at about 6.5 ft. I would suggest using only in taller ceilings. I can definitely feel the heat difference from the Halogen bulbs. Halogen are such an energy suck.
