Don't waste your money and time on cheaper transfer tape. This is by far the best that I have used. From very small vinyl projects to large, it works flawlessly. Just enoughr grip to allow easy transfer of vinyl to your surface. From glass to wood and metal, I've never had a problem with this tape. The lines and the clear tape make it much easier.

This is for the paper transfer tape. I have not tried the clear one- yet!- but I plan to in the future. This tape is fantastic! I make wood signs and use Oracal 631 as a stencil. Because of the nature of 631 it doesn't adhere to the wood very strong, which is good for removing it after I'm done painting, but that is also a problem when peeling the transfer tape off after I apply the stencil. So I needed an easy release tape. I LOVE this tape! It picks the vinyl off of its backing super easy, but also releases it easily which is what usually gives me headaches with other brands!! I've used the same piece that I cut today for 4 projects, so I also love that it's reusable. It is hard to see exactly where I am positioning it on the wood, but I found a work around. For most projects the paper version will do, but for others I need clear. If the clear is the same tack as the paper I will be just as happy! The first picture is how transparent the paper tape is with the vinyl still on the backing, the second is trying to line it up on the wood, which is harder to see through. Loving it so far!!

I love this transfer tape! Works well with vinyl. I want to point out though that it isn't clear, so I don't recommend it for layering. One of the questions about this item asked if it was clear, and someone answered YES. I was looking for clear transfer tape so I purchased this. It's 100% my fault for not looking further, but a few answers down explain that it is not. Still, it works fabulous if I'm not layering many colors.

Absolutely love this transfer tape. When I purchase my Cameo, it came with a small amount of silhouette transfer tape. It worked great, but my local store was out. I purchase many other brands and all stuck to my vinyl so much that it didn't transfer. I wasted vinyl and transfer tape. I purchase this transfer tape and it worked perfectly and it is very reasonably priced. Will definitely continue to order!!!!

This is the first transfer paper I have ever purchased. I received some for free with my die cutter and it didn't have lines. The lines make a difference! But this is a little less translucent than the one that came with it so I would be interested in paying a bit more and trying the "clear" out next time to save my eyes. The amount of tackiness is perfect and each piece can be used about 3 times before it becomes difficult to get to adhere to the vinyl.
All in all I really like this paper a lot and it was recommended to me by my neighbor who is a fellow crafter. I don't think you will be disappointed as I have been very happy with it! You can see through it enough...I probably just lack experience. I will be ordering from this company from now on though. 4.5 stars for the opaque and I bet 5 for the clear from me!
