This a very pretty LITTLE pitcher. And I emphasize little -- I guess I did not realize that it would be so small which is my fault since the ounces are listed on the description. That said, It is really a nice product. I love the stainless steel lid with strainer. One advantage of it being smaller than anticipated is that it is easier to lift/pour but it does mean I have to keep refilling more frequently. I would give it a 5 start if it was a bit larger like maybe 64 oz

I got my first pitcher as a Christmas gift and I liked it so much I bought another. Since it takes time to flavor the water, I keep on the counter for immediate drinking and one I keep in the fridge "brewing" so I always have water at hand. I wasn't a water drinker before I got my patcher and now I am. The pitcher produces an excellent, gently flavor water. I use a filtered water for best results. The one word of caution, and it has nothing to do with the quality of the pitcher is, don't leave fruited water on the counter for too long, it does go bad. But other other than that it works beautifully. Great gift!

When this first arrived I thought it was too small and I was going to return it, but my boyfriend washed it out and put it in the fridge with water in it so we kept it. I was wrong about the size. It works perfectly for our needs. We just use it to keep water in, when we pour a glass of water we just make sure to refill it whenever it's getting low. It's easy to clean so we just pop it into the dishwasher from time to time and I like that the lid actually seals so the water doesn't absorb fridge odors. Great buy.

The pitcher is beautiful, and seems quite sturdy. What really surprised me though was the weight -- it's amazingly light, almost like it was made of plastic, but with the elegant smooth feel that only comes from glass. The glass sounds like borosilicate or heat-tempered glass, and gives much more confidence than the brand name tumblers I use it with. The strainer feature on the top is nice for serving hand squeezed lemonade or tea, and the top, though not screw-on, stays in place remarkably well. The size is also a good compromise between being too tiny and being light enough to lift a a distance when fully laden. I should point out that the top is never really airtight-closed, so this is not necessarily the jug you want to leave in the fridge for a week next to a cut onion. However, it's a small niggle for such a nice product. All in all, I would say this is one of the best values for tabletop goods I've run into. Now I want to go and see if they make some glasses to go with it!
