Initially bought these for use in 72 hr emergency kits. Just opening them the soap had a little bit of a funny smell, like you could smell just a bit of the rendered fat used to make soap I was a little concerned about this.
HOWEVER, once you use them they have a nice pleasing light soap smell and you do not pick up any of that initial smell. I would purchase these again.

I like the size and use these for my Airb&b. It smells fine, and works fine, but it doesn't lather up as much as I would like, but enough scrubbing will get you there. Has some pumice in it, so it's good for a deeper cleaning.
