I've learned from experience when ordering caps or boots made in the East to select 1/2 to a full size larger than the size chart indicates. Nice looking, comfortable light weight cap.

For me, the style on this hat is perfect. It's a modern take on the classic ivy cap. Visually streamlined, very light, very breathable, with decent material and acceptable (although not great) stitching. There are only two cons to what could have been a great cap at a fantastic price:

- The colors are not very accurate. They aren't bad, but they aren't accurate. The beige cap is very light, almost white, although the photo at least matches the product, while the "slate grey" is definitely not a true gray and does not reflect the advertised photo. Slate should be a medium gray with just a hint of blue, which this is definitely not. This has a noticeable greenish-blue cast to it, which becomes even more apparent if you are wearing a proper gray or black shirt with it. Paired with stronger colors, however, you may not notice the difference. I've owned two of these in "slate grey" that were both like this, so it's not a fluke. For what it's worth, I've actually come to like the color, but be forewarned if you're expecting exactly what is shown in the photos. I have no idea what the other colors actually look like, and I have no intention of finding out because of the next issue:

- I've owned three of these caps, same style, same size, but ALL of them fit differently. Not enough to be uncomfortable, but enough to be annoying. One fits like a proper large, one is almost a medium, but all three are supposed to be "Medium/Large". It's almost absurd. Quality control on the sizing is a crapshoot. For the price they're asking, I'm not terribly upset, but it's one more thing to be wary of when buying.

Although I absolutely adore one of the three caps I have in this style (the one that fits like it's supposed to), I won't be buying more from this brand, and I can't rate this product with more than three stars. I wish I could. I can forgive the inaccurate colors, but the inconsistent sizing is unacceptable. Get a handle on the sizing issue and I would give it four stars.

It is my first adventure in this type of cap. I wear berets and visors because most other hats tend to overpower my small head and delicate features. It fit as I hoped because I am a woman and this hat is for men and have a small head for a woman. So for others buying this hat I would say the "S/M" size is really a small, there is nothing medium about it. But it is perfect for me. The fabric is nice and the color is a nice light beige and I love the linen look. It will be a perfect spring/summer cap. I would have liked a bit of elastic in back of the brim because it could easily fly off in the wind. But I need to try it out to know more sure.

Just what I wanted. Great summer hat. The fit was perfect and it is quite nice, especially for the price. It looks good, but you don't mind wearing it when goofing off either b/c of the price. Totally satisfied.

The depth does not allow you to feel that it will stay on your head.
