This is a sturdy unit that does what you want it to, bend and cut rebar. I've used it to cut and bend over a thousand pieces of 5/8" rebar over the last few days, and haven't had an issue yet. As some reviewers stated, you may want to use a cheater pipe to extend the handle for cutting 5/8" rebar, but that hasn't been any inconvenience for me. I mounted this to a piece of 2x8, and it has been easy to use and transport.

Easily cuts and shapes rebar to specs at a low cost. If you have room to store it, it will come in handy on just about every job for reinforcement.
