This has done exactly what it's supposed to. Keeps my kombucha the perfect temperature, but make sure to get the "VIVOSUN Digital Seedling Heat Mat Thermostat Controller" so that you don't have to make sure its overheating. The mat itself will not shut off and supplies constant heat without the controller.
These make everything sprout so fast. I've been using them all year and now into winter with hydroponics. Buy them.

I have two mats that are working beautifully 24/7. Heeding the warnings of temperature build-up, I have provided air circulation and clearance and had had excellent results with seeds needing a higher than room temperature for their soil. Seeds are sprouting and mats are working flawlessly.

Temp fluctuated at first. Had to put a metal cooling rack between the mat and seed tray. Overall a good product and made my scorpion peppers germinate in 6 days. Best results if you also use a thermostat to control temp.
