Not a heavy canvas.

These are well made bags. They are perfect for I got them for. All my adult kids and their kids read lots of books. I am crafty person and have a Silhouette Cameo that I love so I bought them to put sayings on them with vinyl. I will say they are a thinner canvas and not a heavy canvas. So if you are looking for a heavy canvas, these won't be what you are looking for. If you like a softer thinner canvas that is not stiff, these will be perfect for you.

These are just great! Turns out to be a perfect size and weight. I've even had grocery packets comment on their great size. They hold a substantial amount but ate not so huge that fully packed they are too heavy. The construction is sturdy and I find the straps a good length to sling over my shoulder or carry hanging. I am only 5'2" if that information is helpful. And they wash great unlike canvas. I bought two sets and use them all the time.
