Bought some watches to resell that had some wear. These made them look almost new! Put the sheet down on top of a magazine and then rub the jewelry on the cloth up and down. If you grab the sheet and rub your watch then your hands get all oily and your watch never looks clean.

I found Cape Cod Polishing Cloths when watching Youtubes on how to polish stainless steel watch bracelets and gold jewelry. Nearly unanimously, the Youtubes were using Cape Cod cloths. I had been taking my fine metals to the jewelry store but that had become cumbersome and expensive.

I was impressed at how easy the polishing was to do and results it delievered. Scratches were removed and the jewelry and stainless steel watch bracelet were restored to nearly new condition.

Knowing that I can do this at home in minutes, I will now use the Cape Cod cloths routinely to keep the collectibles and jewelry in top shape.

I have a watch that got scratched by my carelessness. Scratch was bit tough. I was so sad and i was doing my research online and found this product. I just bought it without thinking more. I just got the product 15 mins before this review. Let me tell you. What an AMAZING PRODUCT. i had to rub almost 5-6 mins. But after buffing i couldn't believe my eyes. I got my fav watch back without a single scratch. So i just polished whole bracelet of the watch and it only took 2 mins for me to remove small scratches around the watch. Well this is a wonderful product. It works. Definitely recommend.

I got this product in hopes that it would help restore the natural finish to a jeweler's brass necklace/earrings set.

Initially, I was a little weirded out by how wet and oily the cloths were because that was something new to me. But, I used it on the necklace. It appeared to be taking off a lot of tarnish (the cloth was coming away quite black). However, I wasn't seeing any improvement in the appearance of the brass. I noted on the instructions that you are only supposed to wipe the item off with a clean cloth suitable for buffing after applying this product. I did that, but was still not seeing any difference in the appearance of the brass - the items remained quite oily. So, I decided to go against the instructions and run the pieces under some warm water with my hands lathered up with a bit of Dawn.

Wow! If that didn't make all the difference! So much black residue came off the necklace and it came up perfectly! The earrings also look amazing. 100% restored to the beautiful original brass with only the artisan's intentional natural patina. Not sure why this worked, but I believe this particular combination of steps might be the way to go for items like mine.

I am very pleased with this product and will treat all of my unsealed brass jewelry with it to keep it looking great.

Works great for minor scratches only. Great for polishing and brining a shine to old watches.
