This is amazing!

I wish I would have known about this product years ago. It was amazingly comfortable and provided so much support. When I have used other stabilization products, they are stiff and can be uncomfortable to wear. This one was so comfortable you wouldn't even know you had it on, and it provided relief every time I would walk.
Offers great support

I fractured my fibula last month while out of town on a business trip, and, since it is a non weight bearing bone, no cast was necessary. Instead at the ER they gave me a boot to wear. I quickly learned that wasn't going to help because it made so off balance, I was afraid I was going to fall again.
On a checkup visit with an orthopedic Dr, he again tried to get me in a boot that was "much better than what they give you in the ER", and I ended up going home with a knee caddy to help me get around.
I purchased this stirrup brace on the advice of my chiropractor to help stabilize my ankle when I started walking on it. It has been a big help. On the latest visit to the orthopedic dr, he recommended an aircast since I went with an ace bandage on my foot. So his "staff" brought one in to fit it to me, and it was the exact same as this one only black. I asked what they would charge- $90!! Wonder why healthcare is so expensive???

It offers good stability and is exactly what I need to keep my ankle from twisting and re-injuring once again. It's adjustable to your size of ankle and calve.
This is life-saver for me because I injured my ankle in early summer, & I thought I knew what I was doing with just icing my ankle, but NO. 😣. I'd twist it again and again in the more bizarre places like on my carpet, with excruciating pain.
I'd done this before (a few years ago) and knew what the doctor would say, so just got my own air cast (and iced it some). I have not twisted since getting this air cast!! Saved hundreds of dollars.
The bottom strip that goes under your foot is a bit wonky to put in your shoe. Now I just hold it tight against my finger and push it together in my shoe so it doesn't fold under. Then it's fine. Yay
Sometimes I forget I have an air cast on cuz it's pretty comfortable. If it's not, I can play around with the Velcro strips to adjust it.

Helps me walk again

I badly damaged my ankle and needed something for support, both to help healing and prevent further injury. This product has done the trick! The side panels are soft on the inside, but rigid on the outside, which does not allow my ankle to roll again. I don't recommend it, but I was able to walk up to 4 miles one day while wearing this.
It initially looked as if it might not last too long, but I've used it daily for about 1 month and it's shown no sign of giving up on me. I am very satisfied with the product!
I do wear a softer product at night.
I recommend a bit of practice wearing it. If the outside edge is too far forward it runs the risk of putting pressure on the foot. To prevent this, I ensure that I "step into" the brace closer to the heel than to the arch of the foot. Socks would also help.
