Very happy as is usual with Amazon and the Prime experience. Put this in place. Note of caution, be sure to mark the location of one of the screw location to match a mark up to the tank. The screw pattern is not uniform, nor should it be on the sender being replace or in my case upgraded. Was impressed right out with the stability of the dash fuel gauge needle. Takes some doing to get the gauge reading to "bounce around". Just what I have been looking for over so many years past. Love that there is no need to mess with in-tank sending unit to set proximate fuel content. This is a simple up and down true reading. Be sure to measure you tank's exact distance from bottom to top of sending tank hole. Give 1" more if a plastic tank (allowance for flexing) and 1/2" if metal. Found this to give the best results. FANTASTIC PRODUCT THUS FAR. I'll run it a full northeast season next then report back on performance.

Easy to install as a replacement but accuracy isn't the same as original unit. The unit seems to want to show it having more fuel than it does. I use a digital fuel consumption unit (Lawrence) through my fish finder that is spot-on so I u7se this gauge for a quick look at fuel level. From comparing the outfit of the unit, I've gauged it for accuracy and found it is off by about 1/8-1/16 of a tank. Not too bad, but I now know that I need to give it some wiggle room.

Displays fuel level with distinct ticks. Is not infinitely variable. Personally I like it better, because it doesn't sway back and forth (in a boat thats a huge plus).
Pay attention to the depth of your tank. you DO NOT want this thing to be closer than an inch to the bottom of the tank. It could work a hole into it.

Fuel sending unit was complete with new gasket and screws. Replacement instruction included testing procedure, and well written installation instructions. This was packaged well and arrived on time. I am very pleased to have my Fuel Gauge working again.

Quality sensor. I ordered a 6.5 inch length. If I were to order another one I would order it 1/2 inch longer. My tank was actually 8 inches tall, but clearance was measured at 7.5 inches. Level seems to read a little lower than actual amount fuel in the tank. Manufacturer says you need at least an inch clearance for a plastic tank.
