Very effective sleep-inducer for me

I did not respond well to the doctor-prescribed sleep aids (Ambien, etc.) nor a couple of the OTC products. Alteril works fine for me all night long, even should I get up for a midnight bathroom visit I can go back to sleep which I could not do with the other products. The package prescribes a dosage of two caplets but I first tried taking one-half of one caplet and now I take just one-third of one caplet before bedtime and it works fine with no morning grogginess.

Bought these hoping to at least get drowsy, not even a wink of sleep and they taste awful if they stay in your mouth to long before swallowing. Yuck and no thank you.

My insomnia problem is far more complex and serious than what any over-the-counter remedy can fix. However, Alteril seems to allow me to fall asleep, although over time, I've developed a tolerance to Alteril and other such remedies, including RX's. WhenI commenced taking Alteril over 15 years ago, it worked wonders! But, as with all other remedies, TOLERANCE diminished its effectiveness. Still, better with than without.
Finally something that works for fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue!!

I have fibromyalgia with chronic fatigue. I've tried OTC and Dx medicines for years. Most of them didn't really work or the side effects outweighed any benefits. I take this, am sleepy within 30 minutes and stay asleep all night! For someone with my disorder, this is a big deal! I get more/better quality sleep which means my pain levels and brain "fog" are far less during the day and my energy level increases. I highly recommend this product. It's worth it's weight in gold!
Not quite like Benadryl, but I can take it every day ...
