Works well. Not too sensitive. Easy to set. Easy to remove. Very loud alarm. My son and son-in-law were determined to "steal" my bike and couldn't do it without setting off the alarm. A dedicated dirtbag will still get your bike, but the average mope will move on to an easier target.
Excellent, the best disc alarm for the money.

Excellent, the best disc alarm for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. You can lock it but not set the alarm which is convenient for storage. It's louder than the others, I returned a cheaper model and bought this one for that reason. You can hear it from inside your house from your driveway, the other one I could not.
Possibly the most pathetic instruction manual of any piece of equipment I have ...

Just got it today, and hope the battery lasts forever, as there appears to be no way to use the supplied allen wrench to gain access.
The manufacturer's website just as useless. No email address to ask questions.
Might have to return it.
HOWEVER.
Customer service has been exemplary since I posted this review, and have promised improvements to the instruction manual. Kudos to Oren at Motoric. No issues whatsoever with the function.
The unit function is top notch.

Yes this lock works great for leaving your bike where you can't see it, also it comes with a reminder cord but I didn't need it because when you mount the bike or move the handle bars the alarm sounds if you forget to remove it, you can also remove alarm before the alarm actually activates, it chirps. Price is Right.
Certainly not used as a theft-proof lock, but the motion alarm is a great addition to my security.

Does everything that I need it to. The locking mechanism seems okay, not something I would trust with my motorcycle which is why I bought 1/2" hardened steel security chain to lock my bike. I use this mainly for the audible alarm. As other users have noted; the sensitivity on this is pretty good. It does not go off needlessly however if you touch the handlebars it will beep giving the person a warning. My favorite feature is that the alarm has an on/off button so it doesn't go off in my pocket while Im driving (like competitor models)
