Mixed bag

They arrived squished into a USPS flat rate box too small for the product, which resulted in a gooey, compressed log of apricot. Take note of the high shipping charge. Three stars because they (or it, the apricot log) was delicious.

"slab" is an appropriate description: these apricots are compressed into a blob, like the package was stored under a heavy weight for a long time
they do have that tart flavor characteristic of california apricots, but i was looking for something a bit more like ... a dried apricot, and not a congealed mass of the same
