Don't Assume Software Purchase Will Be Latest Version

I purchased WavePad on 8/20/18 and shortly after installation clicked on SHOW FULL Menu (icon) > HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATED VERSION. The update cost to the current version (v 7.12 to v 8.21) was significant. In the past, I have spent hours on the this website trying to find a way to provide feedback for similar purchase discrepancies as this and have never found a way to input feedback to this seller so it could correct obvious errors or updates required in its product selection webpages.

I was working on an oral history project for our local museum. I needed to convert .wav files to .mp3 files then create audio cds of the oral histories. I need to split some of the audio files because they were too long then join audio files to reduce the number of cds I needed to create.
I have software I have used for editing audio files and video files in the past. I could NOT get it to work splitting/joining the audio files. After hours of frustration I downloaded WavePad.
What a difference! The WavePad interface is very intuitive. I was able to figure out how to convert the files; split the files and rejoin the files in minutes. The WavePad interface is extremely easy to work with and more importantly IT ACTUALLY WORKED!
I would recommend WavePad to anyone that needs or wants to work with audio files.

Very Reliable & Stable Music Editing & Creation Software

I have been using NCH Software for over 10 years. WavePad Audio Editing Software is one of those tools I use. It has changed a lot and improved greatly over the years. It has many features that other music software does Not have. One of the features I really like is the Text To Speech function, which allows you to save it in many formats & add special effects to it. Of course, you can download it and try it for free before you buy it, which I highly recommend you do.

I think the product is good, but I was not able to use it after trial ended. The activation code I was given from Amazon would not work to register the software. I contacted NCH and they were less than helpful. In the end I had to buy the software AGAIN directly from NCH.
