These items were bought with intentions of helping my college freshman with storage issues. When the box storage unit was unfolded the second box was broken ( Plastic insert) so item is less stable. Since he's away at school he didn't want to bother with a return. So he's using it broken.

My daughter uses the shoe holder in her bathroom for make up and hair stuff. The pockets are perfect, deep yet sturdy enough to hold everything she needs. The box my granddaughter uses for her toys. She sits in it, on it, drags it around. It still keeps its shape. As for the hanging shelves I can't really say. The seem to be as sturdy as the rest of the set but I haven't set it up anywhere. The place I wanted it doesn't hang out far enough, that's my fault, but it seems to be of good quality. I would buy this again
