We used this for our wedding at a 40sq foot oceanfront lawn in Hilton head island with about 65 guests. The speaker was more than loud enough and the 3 mics worked perfectly. It worked over the wind and waves. We did have the system plugged in the whole time, but we did several test runs on battery alone. We also plugged it in to the phone for background music via AUX and the best part is that the mic and AUX have different volume levels so we could use the mic over the background music at the same time. We also connected the speaker to the TV for the slideshow. It was great! And it's so tiny! Best $100 ever! My dad took it home coz he loved the system so much. I saw a unit like this at a convention last year and was impressed with its power for such a small package. My unit has two wireless mics as well as Bluetooth connectivity. This is the perfect solution for GeeksOnTour.com educational seminars when we are in a small venue. Chris does most of the speaking and demos. I add some narration, run the computer and play the slides and canned videos using the Hisonic. It definitely sounded better than any of the other small PAs I heard on our summer tour. Our seminars are designed for 90 minutes. The battery has no problem with that, though I usually have electricity.

I purchased this small portable PA system for my 1 hour fitness classes 3 times a week in October 2016. My studio only offered a music system. After a month of trying to talk over the low music my throat was too raw. I based my purchase on the reviews as I didn't need a big expensive unit with a tripod stand. I wanted something that would last too and easy to tote around since I carry a lot of equipment. I took very good carry of the system walking only across a parking lot to the studio or from my garage to my office. I never dropped it and was always in an temperature controlled environment. I used the mic volume on the speaker in between a 1/4 to almost 1/2 with the headset. I used the clip mic a few times and it works ok. The trick with is to not have the speaker on a high volume to too close to your mic.
Positives:

- headset microphone carried my voice well at low levels but the mic had to be right at my lips.
- great for small spaces
- my studio door room is always open and 10 feet away the front desk can not hear me. Aka volume control is great.
- AUX input works well with an iPod and headset mic

Negatives in the order that it happened to me:
- no easy way to store wireless headset in pockets
- no padding in carry case
- my first class and every use after my speaker continously crackled under my voice and cutting out several times.
- continuous feedback noises and I'm always 10 to 15 feet away from it with three antenna up. Therefore, causing my voice to increase in volume to almost a yell because my students heard over the separate sound system The feedback would kick in and my voice came back too loud.
- wind protector on mic is poor. My students could hear me breathing.
- portable strap broke after 2 months. It was the only item on 1 shoulder.
- bent at 6 months. I always pushed it gently down.
- Antenna broke after 7 months. Aka today.

I would give this PA system a 2.5 ☆ because I did use it often. It serves it purpose and mostly reliable. This would be great for casual use with small meeting with 10 to 20 people and not moved often. I would not carry this around in a car either as I have. I made sure it didn't tumble over too.
If your a fitness instructor I would highly suggest investing into another system or maybe a few upgrades from this to the $200 price range. I'm not sure how my system will work since the antenna is gone. I will use it for a touch longer as I look for a replacement. I cue way too much to not have a system.
I had this system for 7 months and paid $160 for it.

I am a third grade teacher and always struggle at the beginning of the year with tiring out my voice. I finally purchased something that helps! I got this unit and have used it just 4 days and it is a life saver. It has great range. I could be down the hallway and my students could still hear me. I was down the hall and around a corner, and my students still heard me. The lapel mike doesn't pick up as good as the over the head piece so I have used that. My students and coworkers joke that I look like I work at a drive thru but I don't care. It works!!!

I purchased this for our local Rotary Club for use in our weekly meetings. So far its a winner. The sound is clear and crisp. The Bluetooth connectivity works well. The rechargeable battery has a life of about 2.5 hours. The hand mic and lapel mike work great. The headset mic headband is so tiny I don't know of any adult that it would fit well or comfortably, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. The other issue we have experienced is a very short battery life in the hand held mic. I've just replaced the 9V battery that shipped with the unit after only a month of use. I'm hoping that a replacement with a name brand battery will give longer life. If not, I will be investing in a supply of batteries to keep on hand.
