Okay, but not the same.

I've used these Gladware (L) large containers for years. This package of containers are slightly different than the previous ones I've purchased. I'm not sure if they are now using a thinner plastic or recycled materials to make them, but they are no the same. If they are using recycled materials, great, if not, expect these to be slightly different.
Fits on my freezer door shelf. New lids don't stack as well.

I like these containers because they fit on my freezer door shelf. They seal well and last a long time. My only complaint is, with the newer lids that clip together, the filled and sealed containers don't stack as stably as the previous style containers that had a flat lid.
My freezer door has two shelves, each holding three of these containers across, one stacks two high, the other stacks three high. So I can fit 15 containers on a shelf, and SEE what's in each one. A great way to organize and freeze food.
Luckily, I still have several of the old-style containers, so I can stack those on the bottom and place the newer containers, with the "lumpy" lids, on top.

I love these and have a bunch. I use them to create pre-portioned meals for myself, like 1/3 a bag of frozen veggies and 6 meatballs/chicken nuggets/fish sticks/sausages/half a cup of ham slices. Easy to pull from the freezer and microwave, easy to store and keep clean, and good also for storing diced cheese, snack meats, sliced/diced fruits, leftovers, etc.

I use these to store garlic out of those big Costco bottles of minced garlic. I freeze it in these containers. There is moisture and this and if you push down on the top when it's full, juice will leak out. So I'm very careful not too do that and to store it level in the freezer til it freezes.

I make large amounts of fried rice, mashed potatoes, macaroni salads, soups, beans, casseroles, salads and whatnot. aI liked to keep the refrigerator stocked so that others in this household can always find something to reheat for a quick lunch or dinner. No one eats at the same time, so these come in handy. I'm not constantly up looking to cook many different meals.. or even one. These are great and far more useful than smaller containers. Cheap enough that I can wash and reuse, send to a neighbor or family member's house, or just toss as the mood strikes me. Wash up has thus far been a breeze (but not made anything with tomato in it). I bought three sets and I'm using them all the time and my fridge is well organized. I prefer to make larger amounts as I have hardy eaters around me. They all want something different, and they want lots of it. I like having a choice too.
