A quick review on this and several other sizes:

Nice product, very reasonably priced, work well. Drop the weighted line down the barrel from the breech, spray in the CLP (Cleaner/Lubricant/Protective coating) of your choice, as the foam is dense enough to stop the little weight midway in the barrel. Let it soak/work for a few minutes, then pull the thick part through. Nice, clean and shiny gun barrel.

I bought several sizes. The 16 Ga. works well, as does the .38/.357 on both a .357 revolver (barrel and cylinders) and a 9mm pistol. Contrary to some other reviews, I had absolutely no trouble with the .223/5.56 model on either a .223 AR type or a .22 rimfire revolver or a .22 rimfire pistol. I found that it works better with use, the fiber inside straightens out some. The .44/.45 works nicely on a .45 ACP Some other sizes I haven't tried yet but I have no reason to think they won't work as well as the ones mentioned above.

Additional- if you get several sizes, and you will, don't discard the little labelled zip-loc they come in. You'll want it to sort out which is which if you have calibers that are not all that different.

I like shooting .22 rifles, but hate cleaning them. The bores are so small to clean effectively, and the brushes can never get everything out of the bore. This little gadget made cleaning so much easier! After spraying it with Break-Free, I run this through the bore a few times. Then I put a couple drops of Hoppe/s cleaning solvent on the first section, and put it through couple more times. Finally, I put a few drops of gun oil on it, and run it through the bore one last time. I pushed a patch through the bore, and it came out completely clean! The whole process only took a few minutes. For long barrel .22, bore snake cleaner is probably more effective than a quality rod, because you can exert so much more force and pressure with a pulling action instead of push.

DO not buy this thing it is JUNK it says it is for the 223 but it is not, I tried to use it on my AR-15 and it would not even pull through the barrel it got stuck in the Barrel and I thought that I was in trouble, no matter how hard I pulled it would not pull through and it took everything I had just to get it out of my weapon. I thought that the cheap material that the weighted end is made of was going to tear a part. I finally gave up and went to another way of doing it, I will buy metal rod cleaning kit and just throw this away, I am sure that the one I purchased for my 40S&W and 45 Auto are junk also. Also the picture is misleading the picture shows something like Para cord on the weighted end it is not it is some flimsy material that would tear apart if pulled to hard.

Ordered a 12 gauge in May. Opened it today to clean my gun. Hmmmm!

Packaging
Each barrel cleaner came in its own clear plastic zip lock type bag with product label and identification for the caliber of firearm to use it with.

Product
The dimensions of each product is the same of the five calibers I purchased. There are six components to each snake. Each comes with a brass weighted tip attached to about 24" of paracord which is then stitched in the barrel snake fabric which is also about 24" in length. The fabric thickness and width changes for each caliber. The other four segments are a cleaner section, a brush section, a drying section and finally an oil section. You can find numerous videos online to instruct you on the proper techniques and products to use for this process.

Conclusion
I love the simplicity of the barrel snake system and design. They are relatively inexpensive so you can buy one for each caliber of firearm you have. I like the fact that you can clean the snakes to keep them in good condition for your next use (recommend placing them in a tight laundry sack for delicates before placing them in the washing machine).
