The owner of my company is very picky. He also likes nice things, and even more - he likes my ability to find them at the best possible price. so whenever he needs something he comes straight to me. When he decided to upgrade his monitors to 32" he informed me that he needed two stands to put them on. Not wanting to spend $60 per stand, and not wanting cheap plastic - but instead something appealing to the eye that would support the size and weight of his TV sized computer monitors, I set out in my search.

I saw these stands not long into my shopping expedition and I kept them open in a separate tab as I continued my search for something (possibly) better. A half hour later I had still not found anything large enough, appealing enough, and inexpensive enough (ie: better than these) so I felt confident enough to go ahead and place the order for these stands.

I'm SO glad I did! There is NO REASON to spend more than $30 for a nice monitor stand as long as these are for sale on Amazon! They are appealing to the eye, sturdy, and easy to assemble. just four hex screws to attach the legs and it comes with a little hex tool.

I am posting a picture to show the size of the stand relative to a 32" monitor, and note that his whole laptop slides right underneath the stand, even with all the cables connected...

OK but beware that there is a very LARGE printed logo for the company that makes these right on the top of the shelf in the middle. You can't see it in the listing image because the monitor foot covers it, but it is really huge and in the way. Kind of takes away from the professional elegance that it would have if they hadn't put their logo right there in great big letters.

I was worried about it arriving cracked or nicked, but it made it in perfect shape. The design is excellent and earns the space it takes up on the desk. I like the amount of elevation it gives my monitor and the fact that there's room underneath for my keyboard and beside my monitor for post-it notes or small gadgets. I don't have any complaints to report.

Pros: Perfect for adding an additional 3 inches in height from base of my computer monitors. I ordered three and they worked perfectly. The space below the stand allows for me to slide my wireless keyboard out of the way, and hides my cable management nicely and clean.

The dark, smoke tint glass adds a nice contemporary or transitional complement. It is durable and professionally designed. The edges are carefully chaffered adding a smooth sleek feel.

Cons: None!

Other thoughts: I have three of the stands for three of my HP 2511x monitors (see picture). I will definitely highly recommend this product for anyone who appreciate quality, style, and perfectionism.

This turned out to be a very good purchase. The monitor stand has plenty of space below it to tuck away my 17-inch laptop, which was my primary purpose for buying the stand. It also sets my 27-inch monitor at the perfect height on my desk. The stand is very modern and sleek looking and matches my black glass top desk perfectly. It leaves plenty of room for a keyboard and mouse pad as shown in my pics. It also provides a very stable foundation for my monitor and should hold up well under daily use. It took about 2 minutes to put it together...no directions required. It came with 4 screws and an allen wrench to attach the legs to the base. It also came with 4 adhesive pads (black squares) to keep the metal legs from damaging the surface of my desk. If you don't like the pads that are included, you could easily change them out with your preferred brand, style and/or size. I would definitely buy this stand again, and I would also recommend it to a friend.
