The shape is not A-line, it is oblong. Less attractive in my mind. I ordered one size too large and it is really big. I wish Amazon would require all sizes be American so you would know how to order.

Probably not pertinent to this product but if the makers and Amazon desire American buyers, then market to them. Seems simple to me - give the manufacturer, here or in Asia, the pattern and American size and have them use them for our market. And we are not merely larger Asian sizes - we are built differently.

Knowing that if one is a bit busty or has wide shoulders, I always order one size larger. I love The 1 for U nightgowns. I have about 7 of their gowns in summer and winter styles. They are made of good quality fabric, are comfortable and pretty.

I really like this, and I would have never thought of buying one of these 100% cotton nightgowns.

Friends of mine insisted that I try out the 100% cotton bloomers, and I was against it, until they bought me a pair. OMG they are so comfy and now I have decided to buy this nightgown, in which I am happy I did.

I am 5' 5" 175lbs with a 42D size bra, maybe smaller because I have lost weight.
This nightgown fits perfect all around. There is plenty of room from the bust down. The bust area is not tight, but more fitted on me.
You have two pockets, which aren't really deep, but works to hold small items.
I can fit my cell phone in one of the pockets.
I wore it last night and I did not get tangled in it while sleeping in which I thought I was going to be.

The nightgown is soft and it will probably be even softer after washing it. Very detailed on the chest area.
Comes in a beautiful bag with buttons that you can use for other things.

I highly recommend this nightgown.

This seems to be a nice enough nightgown for the most part - except that not only is it just as see-thru as you'd expect from white cotton about the thickness of a bedsheet, but there is open lace on the chest! The strips immediately to either side of the center panel are unlined, open lace. "The girls" are perfectly placed for an exhibition. Overall I like it and will probably keep it, but I'm going to have to wear a camisole under it so I don't scandalize my roommates. It's pretty, long enough for me at 5'10", and the medium is roomy without being ridiculous aside from the wardrobe malfunction.

Lovely nightgown. Good workmanship, and washes well. I'm 5'3" and 108 lbs. The small is plenty roomy -- in fact, I needed to take a couple of little tucks on each side of the button neckline to keep it from gaping. This was not enough of a problem to require a return.
