Used on a 64 bit Windows 10 PC. Simple - no software registration needed. Just load the CD, reboot, type "Autonuke," then leave it alone to do the job. Don't know how long it took - left it on overnight.

Best simplistic hard drive wiper, i wanted to donate my pc to goodwill but did not want to risk having data that can trace back to me. I purchased this and and followed the easy included instructions. Its basic setting is to wipe the hard drive seven time (7), this means it will i think write "0"s in every sector, its repeats this process 7 times and can take several hours because it making any data unrecoverable

I had an old Dell desk top, a Compaq Oresario laptop, and an 8 year old Dell I Inspiron laptop. This disk erased all three with ease. The desktop took about 4.5 hours, the Compaq erased in about 1 hour. Dell laptop took longer than an hour. You have to follow the directions that came with it, which I didn't eat first. I got my money's worth and then some.

I was able to wipe the hard drive on a windows 10 computer. But absolutely could not get it to work on a Windows Vista. It was easy to use when following the directions for windows 10.
