So ugly, but so effective. After many broken screens and unsuccessful cases, I have found the one I'm sticking with! Needing to open the slots for charging and headphones is a minor inconvenience, The case is durable and easy to put on. My kid spilled a glass of water on my phone, and the water just sat on top of the case, not affecting my phone at all.

Love the defender design as it provides great protection, doesn't slip out my pockets and has a great grip feel. I don't drop my phone often, but the case has never failed me. I had one on another phone previously and on that, as well as this, I found it easy to use and fit well. I was not happy with the screen protector because most of my use it outside and the glare is a problem. I took a hair dryer to the protector, which easily removed it, cleaned the glue residue, and put a Tech Armor Ballistic, Non-Glare protector on my phone (separate review). It was then easy to wrap the Defender case over the phone and it has a good tight fit just like it was with the original

I've dropped my phone once with the Otterbox on and it sustained NO damage. The OB does make it a little bulkier too. Only issue I had was with the plastic screen protector: it made it impossible to text rapidly but I feel that's because I already had a tempered glass on the phone. I removed the plastic screen protector which I'm sure renders any warranty that comes with the OB useless. It's kinda tough to remove the sticky adhesive but there are a lot of YouTube videos on how to do it.

This case is extreme protection. First you fit the hard plastic around the phone that has a plastic screen protection. Then the rubber goes around the phone and covering back. The vibrate phone switch, headphone jack & charger ports are covered with the case flaps which I found annoying & not needed so I cut them off. Much better. The vibrate phone switch is still a little to get to as it is recessed a lot due to the thickness of the case.
For the price this is a good case. I'm not spending $80 on a phone case in this lifetime.

OtterBox did not disappoint. The case definitely makes the slim iphone 6 feel bulkier, but not in a bad way -- I feel more comfortable and safer using it now, as it doesn't feel fragile anymore. The thumb scanner/home button works just fine and isn't obstructed in my opinion, the port covers are easy to open/use and aren't annoying, the built-in screen protector is even working for me with no issues at all.

I don't really care for belt clips, and this one in particular I feel it's a little too high on my hip/a little large and I can't move that comfortably. Like, if I bend at all, I can feel it digging into my side. (Maybe I'm not wearing it right? Lol.) The quality of the belt clip seems good, though, so I can't fault it there!
