This game is pretty fun. Although I do have to mention the fact that it can get really tedious at certain points of the game cause they just flood you with seemingly never ending enemies. But despite that, I enjoyed myself with this game. IIts super cheesy and I love it. It has couch co-op and 4 player multiplayer. Its gets insane in later levels so your gonna want some friends helping out. Also, you might not want to to pick this up of you dont plan on playing on higher difficulties cause most of the best weapons are locked behind the higher difficulties. But over all, this is a game where cooperation is key. I highly recommend getting it.

Imagine Dynasty Warriors but with guns and bugs/robots. Cut through swaths of bugs and aliens as a member of the Earth Defense Force. You're able to pick from multiple different character classes each with their own unique mechanics. One can fly, one is slow and heavily armored, another has the ability to call in support vehicles, etc. Tons and tons of weapon pickups.

I absolutely recommend playing this with a friend. This is one of the few modern games that has split-screen and I absolutely love it for that because this game is WAY more fun with a friend (or more with online).

Just don't expect great story or voice acting, though. This is clearly parodying old, cheesy horror movies about giant insects and alien invasions. As such, the story and dubbing is really bad and cheesy, seemingly purposefully so.

Overall, a very fun game that I'd recommend if you love mindless fun.

This game is fun and addictive. Its one of those games you can just enjoy without having to be too serious. There are some underground cave levels that kinda suck because they are dark and not well lit, but if you hate them, u can put the game on easy to advance the story. Its not even much of a story, but killing giant bugs and getting to choose from a bunch of different weapons to suit your play style is great. They got sniper rifles, rocket launchers, homing missiles, lightning weapons, shotguns, and just about anything u can think of. I have only played two classes so far, but they add to the replay value since the strategies and weapons you use are different.. Anyway.. good game.

The online community is nice on PS4, hundreds of weapons, tons of levels, couch co-op, and 4 classes. The difficulties make this a fun, Kill Em' All shooter, or something that will make a Dark Souls veteran cry.

Wing Diver is also an acceptable waifu.

I can't believe I didn't know about this game until now. Probably due to "bad" critics rating, but user score is overwhelmingly positive no matter which website you go to. This game is made of pure FUN. Co-op can't get any better than this. Best game on PS4 so far.
