Excellent tripod for the money. Its fairly heavily built so I don't think it will tip over. It has easy adjustments and packs up easy. The only negative I can say is the adjustment on the tripod boom which tightens it rattles when moved. For me, I 'm doing interviews so it won't move, but if it was moving during recording that would be an issue.
I'd recommend it.

Seems very well made and designed. With light use so far, I see no sign of any design flaws. It would be a good stand at twice what I paid for it.
It is a bit light, so I have an ankle weight around the base for extra stability in case of clumsiness on my part.
This is not a "good for the price" stand, it's simply a good stand.

So far I am impressed with the quality! Whish the stand was a bit heavier but I also bought the Hola Music universal tablet holder and that gives me the additional weight to keep it super stable. I would and will buy more as the need arises. I love the way there is no locking screw knob for the base, those are always the first ones I lose or break! The base slides and locks using the angle of the base legs. Over all an excellent buy!
