Excellent tire monitoring system for truck and trailer.

I bought this to monitor the tires on a large gooseneck trailer and decided to buy four additional monitors for the truck. It worked well on my initial 2,500 voyage and paid for itself within the first hour by spotting a quick leak in a rear trailer tire. I had just put on a new set of Michelin tires on the trailer and the tire shop failed to put on new valve stems. One of the valve stems began leaking after the first 60 miles and the Bellacorp gave an immediate warning of loss in tire pressure. I pulled over and changed the tire - probably saving it.
The trailer is a 32' gooseneck and their were no issues with the receiver getting a good signal on the truck or trailer monitors. It provided real peace of mind on a long trip to know that all the tires were operating as intended.
The only issue I had was the instruction manual. It shows three different ways to register each monitor with the receiver, but was not clear that you could use any of the three. The manual method of putting the receiver next to each monitor worked fine. The monitors work great and the receiver cycles through each one, showing the PSI and temperature rating of each tire.
Highly recommended.

At first I had problems until Paul, the Bellacorp customer service rep, asked me a few questions .. including "did I have a weather station in my trailer?".. yes I do... turns out that the outside sensor for most clock or weather stations that show the outside temp use 433mhz frequency for their sensors which is close enough to the frequency that the TPMS sensor also uses so as to cause interference. BUT by using the repeater that BELLACORP sells for their TPMS, the system works great and starts updating tire temp and pressures after about 800' from the start of your trip (they 'sleep" while sitting still to save battery life; motion wakes them up and they start transmitting current data)
I highly recommend BELLACORP because of the customer service I received from Paul, AND recommend that, for best reliability, that you purchase the repeater with the system up front so you don't run into interference like I did at first. Its only about 35 feet from the rear tires of the trailer to the dash of my truck but there is enough metal to overcome in the direct line of sight that without the repeater, the system can be rendered unreliable if ANYTHING is transmitting in the 433mhz range. With the repeater, it boosts the signal enough to overcome all the metal and frequency interference resulting in a reliable tire status AND an alert IF any of the temp or pressure setting you choose to set in the system so you can get stopped BEFORE a failing tire causes hundreds of dollars of damage to your trailer. Even if you don't have any 433mhz interference from other sources, the repeater boosts the signal to get a strong signal past the metal barriers between your tires and the dash of your truck where you want the information, more reliably.

Easier than expected installation with repeater.

The TPMS came with a repeater included in the kit and I was concerned about installation. As it turns out I was able to easily mount the repeater below my propane tanks and then crimped some lugs onto the wires so I could connect directly to my battery. The installation of the sensors was flawless due to the note on the instruction manual that explicitly stated that I should read the manual before I begin. After following those instructions, I installed the sensors and adjusted the alarm settings. I deliberately varied the air pressure of my tires within a few psi of each other to test the accuracy of the system. The system measurements were accurate.
Although you can manually cycle through the sensors to check temperature and pressure of each tire, the system will automatically cycle through the sensors every two minutes.
This appears to be an accurate and reliable system - especially with the repeater which ensures positive reception between the sensors and the monitor.

If you don't have a TPMS in your RV, GET THIS even if you don't tow anything!

Love this TPMS! After an initial glitch with turning it on, it worked great! I did call support late at night to report that I could not get the unit to power on and was hoping to exchange it before we left on our trip to Texas. Paul called back early the next morning and got me going, no exchange needed. First time anyone ever called me back that quickly and was able to resolve my problem. Used this on a Class A motorhome towing a Honda CRV. All 10 tire monitors worked flawlessly the entire trip. Showed me the pressures were really low in the Honda just after it came out of service at the dealer. (Apparently they didn't really do all the checks they said they do as 3 of the 4 tires were below 25 pounds of pressure and the door label indicates 30 lbs in each tire. I'm going to take my Honda to the Ford dealer from now on for routine maintenance!) So after getting those car tires pumped up, it was amazing to see how the temps and pressures changed as we drove. First day out we were in snow and ice and there was only minor variations in the temps and pressures, but by the time we hit Texas, the pressures were all up a good 10 pounds in the RV tires and the temps were up above air temps but not excessively high. Was a lot more comfortable knowing that all of the tires were properly inflated for the entire 2300 mile round trip from winter to spring and back to winter without having to do the daily checks as well as the quick look-see at each stop. The monitors never missed a beat the entire trip. Word of advice, watch the video on programming before you try to install them.
Top notch product with great support

I have had my Bellacorp Tire Pressure Monitoring System for about 3 years. Previously I had another tire monitor system that required sending the sensors back to the factory to replace batteries. That would have cost more than the purchase of a new Bellacorp system with user replaceable batteries. Upon receiving my new tire monitoring system, it was obvious that the Bellacorp product was top notch quality.
The initial setup was a little confusing because of some errors in the manual. A separate sheet with correct instructions was included in the box. Once I read that, things became clear. A friend of mine recently purchased the same system that I have and I noticed that the manual has been re-written.
There must have been a bad batch of sensors because over the first six months all of the sensors failed, a few at a time. Bellacorp stood behind their product and replaced the sensors promptly. Since then all of the sensors have performed well. I have two that read slightly high but I am aware of it and can take that into consideration while taking readings.
This system saved my bacon on two occasions when fast leaks developed due to cracked valve stems. I was able to safely pull off the road and change the tires before they went completely flat. I have since switched over to metal valve stems and have not experience any more problems.
I love the fact that the batteries are user replaceable but found the CR-1632 cells can be difficult to locate locally. I purchased a 10 pack on Amazon at a very reasonable price to have on hand to use as needed. I just replaced two (which prompted me to finally write this review) and have five remaining.
I am very satisfied with the Bellacorp system and recommend it highly.
