I ordered this because it had a frosted appearance, but it is very clear. Also, it is indeed painted on coloring as opposed to true colored glass (if that matters to you - which it does to me from a chemical footprint POV).

I use these for the Bluecorn TeaLight candles, which fit perfectly. They look nice burning in these holders. I like it that the flame is self-contained within the holder. They do get a little hot but nothing unexpected.

Very thick and heavy. The dark amber ones are even darker than shown. I will mix these with lighter shades of amber votives, as well as various shades of green votives, and a few purple/amethyst votives on the Thanksgiving table.

These Bluecorn Beeswax Heavy Glass Votive and Tea Light Candle Holders work great and I really like them a lot. I recently got a couple of these along with some tea light candles and also some 15 Hour Unscented White Emergency Bulk Votive Candles. Testing one of my 15 Hour Unscented White Emergency Bulk Votive Candles in this holder resulted in a 17 hour burn time for the 15 hour candle. I'm a happy camper.
