Do not apply to forehead -runs with perspiration and causes persistent burning in eyes.
alan goldstein✓ Verified Purchase•August 15, 2017
I was surprised that despite a thin application of this sunscreen to my forehead that this sunscreen caused a burning sensation to my eyes when I
perspired. Yes, this product protected me from a sunburn but to avoid applying to my forehead so that it will not run with my perspiration into my eyes sort of defeated the original purpose of wearing this sun protection. I really gave this product plenty of opportunity but ended up just wearing
my sun hat. My own perspiration does not bother my eyes so I ruled that out. Sorry, but no way could I recommend this product especially for a
child.

Definitely makes you white but this stuff works great. I no longer care what I look like ...

Definitely makes you white but this stuff works great. I no longer care what I look like on the beach after having a severely atypical mole removed and I'm not into selfies so it's great for me. It also gives us extra time so if I forget to call my son over at that 80 minute mark I know he's still covered. If you're looking for some glamour shots on the beach this is not for you. If you're trying to prevent wrinkles and cancer, this is the product for you
Great product and safe to use!

This is our second time purchasing this brand. The bottle lasted us for an entire season last year (infant and preschooler, plus a tall mom) and we had zero burns. It is a bit thick, but that's sort of the beauty and longevity of the bottle.
I feel very comfortable using this in my little ones since it's so highly rated by the Environmental Working Group (for at least the second year in a row). EWG.org is very reliable for safety ratings and I don't have to worry about putting dangerous chemicals on our skin.

This sunscreen protected me for six hours (with no reapplication) in full and partial sun 4° south of the equator. The only time I burned was after two hours snorkeling in noonday sun. Conclusion, as long as it isn't washed off by ocean water or, I imagine, excessive sweat, this sunscreen has amazing staying power. It leaves a slight white cast which wasn't noticeable at first on my very fair skin. However, I did tan under the cream, albeit slower than I normally would, and then it looked a little funny. Because of this, it might not be your ideal everyday out-in-town sunscreen, but as a very effective, safe and protective sports sunscreen for outdoor activity, it's the best I've found.
Works well. Easy to apply. Stung my family's eyes.

I've been a Badger sunscreen user for years and was reluctant to move away from that product line. Here's my comparison of the two brands.
- Thinksport is a 50+ spf. Badger Sport Sunscreen in 35 spf. If applied well and reapplied every two hours, neither allows my family's skin to burn.
- Both are water resistant for 80 minutes.
- Thinksport is a thinner cream. It rubs in almost completely leaving no white film. It did leave a bit of white in our eyebrows. It is easier to apply because it spread nicely. Badger is a thick cream. It will not rub in all the way and leaves behind a very noticeable white film. It takes more patience and time to spread thinly and work into the skin. My children are more annoyed than usual when applying this sunscreen.
- If you sweat or get into the water, Thinksport burns slightly when it comes into contact with your eyes. Badger does not burn your eyes.
- Neither causes any skin reactions on my skin. (Chemical sunscreens cause me to breakout in hives.)
The eye burning was a surprise. My kids' eyes were clearly red and irritated, and my eyes stung and were relieved only after washing my face. I love how easy this was to apply compared to the other brand, but the trade-off may not be worth it.
