Solid, smooth bearings. If you are using these for more decorative purposes (IE: diy barn doors) be aware that the finish comes scratched up. For my build it's above eye level so it's not super important. Also, the rolling surface isn't perfectly smooth. It's not terrible, but rolling across a hard surface rather than a cable will translate to some unpleasant rattle and rumble. Otherwise, pretty dang solid. I would buy them again.
Bearings are not very good

Disappointed with quality of the bearings. The pulleys I have spin very freely. This pulley does not, and as you spin it, you hear a scratching/scraping noise inside. Its just not a very high quality product.

Bought two of these to make a DIY tricep pulldown machine in my basement. I attached them to a floor joist up above, and used a 1/4" cable from Lowe's, some cable accessories and a tricep rope (bought here on Amazon) to build an excellent workout product!
Before the Kylin Sport pulley, I had made the same machine using pulleys from Lowe's. They were the same price, but loud, squeaky, and occasionally the wheel wouldn't roll, the cable would slide over the wheel, causing me to believe the cable would wear through eventually.
This product is a game changer!
