This product is worth the money. I chose this over similar, cheaper competitors based on the reviews and am glad to have done so. Packaging: A+, Instructions: A+ (full color pics & clearly labeled parts bags), Easy of Assembly: A+ (took like 10-15 minutes max), Comfort: TBD (waiting on new fanatec set coming tomorrow, but sat in it and watch several tv episodes, so far so good), Adjustability: A+.

I'm 6'0" and 245lbs. For me the seat could be an inch wider for max comfort, but I don't think it's going to be a problem at all. That's the only possible flaw, if it can even be call such.

Conclusion: Buy it!

After having used this setup with the Fanatec wheel and pedals I can say it works great and is very comfortable for long sessions on iRacing. I felt like the Fanatec shifter would complete the experience so I ordered it and it came in today. I had already installed the shifter mount included with the kit the previous night. I noticed I was unable to figure out how to mount the shifter without consulting the instructions. Apparently there is some extra hardware needed to install this particular shifter. A short phone call to their tech support and it's on the way at no cost. One thing I learned on the phone is this kit is assembled and packaged in the USA. All the printed materials are done in house aswell. These guys are first class. I'll say it again, buy this thing!

This might be the easiest construction of anything I have ever built. Aside from the high quality materials, I also got custom HOTAS plates made by the seller upon request as well. Everything arrived quickly and I was shocked at the quality of the entire product. The seat is durable and comfortable, the metal used is heavy duty and the instructions were incredibly clear. The bags with parts all came labeled as well and the entire process took less than 15 minutes. Everything is very adjustable and I was able to get my HOTAS system mounted just the way I like it, too. I'm still a little amazed at how high quality this entire set up honestly is from top to bottom, especially when some sell for more than twice as much and are nearly as well put together.

I did a ton of research on racing cockpits and was considering ones from $300-$1000. I took a chance on the cheaper openwheeler pro and I could not be happier with my choice. Flex is a non issue, all the parts of this
cockpit are made of some seriously thick steel so theres no worrys about it being "cheap or flimsy". The seat itself looks awesome and has been very comfortable during my all day Forza marathons. The levers to slide the seat back and forth and to recline feel more solid than the ones in my actual car. All the bolts and toools needed to mount your wheel and pedals are included as well as various pre-drilled holes for different placement options. I have the Thrustmaster TX and it bolted right up to the cockpit like it was made for it. I was concerned that being 6'3 I would have a problem finding a comfortable driving position and also because I like my wheel close NASCAR style, but this rig exceeded my expectations for adjustability. Theres so many dfferent ways to adjust this rig quickly and easily, and the knobs are heavy duty with a rubber coating. Iv heard some reviews mention that the center bar can get in the way during heel and toe maneuvers but for me it doesnt cause a issue at all. I like to rev match when downshifting and that requires braking, clutching and stabbing the gas at the same time but theres no issue with the bar getting in the way. One feature that was really the deciding factor for me was if you could use the seat on its own without it being connnected to the rest of the rig and you can! I love to watch Tv and game in the chair and all it takes is unscrewing one knob and sliding it out. All around I am very VERY happy I bought this and I see no reason to spend over $400 when this rig can do everything you need it to do.

I have put this wonderfully comfortable seat through its paces for the last two years, and it has performed flawlessly. It was originally purchased because my Playseat was just not that comfortable and I could not drive for more than 20-25 minutes without having to get up and walk around from the discomfort. The Operwheeler will let you drive for hours with no built up numbness or other unpleasantness.

Additionally... AND THIS IS AMAZING...Home Racer (the manufacturer) has untouchable support and customer service. After two years of driving with the Logitech G920 setup, I am picking up a Fanatec kit. Home Racer is replacing 4 major pieces FOR FREE. The upgraded parts have pre-drilled holes for the Fanatec setup, and also provide better support and sturdiness. They are sending them out at no charge and even covering shipping.

If you buy from a competitor, you will not get this kind of product quality or support, and you will likely pay more for your driving chair.

I received the seat quickly and undamaged. There was some damage to the box, but the contents are well packed and did not have any signs of damage. When unpacking, check to make sure there's no loose nuts or bolts. It drove me batty looking for a nut only to realized it fell off the seat during shipping into the shipping box.

Anyways, assembly is an easy one person job. All the tools necessary for installation are included. Instruction is OK, not great. Overall it took me 30 minutes to put it together, not counting the time it took me to find the lost nut.

The seat is comfortable. It's a bit wider than expected, and a bit softer than expected. If you ever sat in a Recarro, you'll know what I mean. But the recline is adjustable, and it does slide forward and back. Aside from the seat's ajustability, the pedal distance is also ajustable. I'm 6'1 and I fit without any issue. My son is 5'3 and he fits fine. The overall frame is very light weight. There are wheels under the pedal platform that helps move it out of the way. It's also surprisingly sturdy. I use it with the TM 300rs. Much better driving experience than sitting at a table.

The omly fault is that shifter mount cannot be tightened. There is wiggle in the front to back movement. I added a piece of paper to act a a shim, now it's solid.

I paid $365 shipped with tax on this during a price drop a couple of weeks ago. It's a really nice seat at this price point.
