Great quality and value!

I am starting my review off as a 5-star, and will further analyze the product as time goes on. I am quite impressed with the quality of this product. The thing that is immediately noticeable is that the seller/producer is careful with packing and smart about making sure the product is protected, and that the set-up phase is super easy. The hardware is even divided into separate zipper bags with labels on each one! There is no second-guessing anything here. It only takes like 15 minutes to get it all sorted out and built. A lot of thought must have been put into making the user experience good when building and setting up this product. I have also heard that the customer service is great, but have not had to contact them yet.
The seat is pretty comfortable, and they sell a lumbar attachment if you feel like you need that (although a small pillow would probably suffice). I am happy so far, and must say that the quality of this is excellent for the price! I did a lot of research on this before the purchase, and this seems to be a great bang-for-your-buck. Be very cautious about some third-party seller trying to put this on sale for 850 bucks. That is more than double what the cost should be. At the time of my purchase, I found it for $340.00 (U.S.), and that seems very appropriate. Great product!! I'll likely get a second one soon.

I did a ton of research on racing cockpits and was considering ones from $300-$1000. I took a chance on the cheaper openwheeler pro and I could not be happier with my choice. Flex is a non issue, all the parts of this
cockpit are made of some seriously thick steel so theres no worrys about it being "cheap or flimsy". The seat itself looks awesome and has been very comfortable during my all day Forza marathons. The levers to slide the seat back and forth and to recline feel more solid than the ones in my actual car. All the bolts and toools needed to mount your wheel and pedals are included as well as various pre-drilled holes for different placement options. I have the Thrustmaster TX and it bolted right up to the cockpit like it was made for it. I was concerned that being 6'3 I would have a problem finding a comfortable driving position and also because I like my wheel close NASCAR style, but this rig exceeded my expectations for adjustability. Theres so many dfferent ways to adjust this rig quickly and easily, and the knobs are heavy duty with a rubber coating. Iv heard some reviews mention that the center bar can get in the way during heel and toe maneuvers but for me it doesnt cause a issue at all. I like to rev match when downshifting and that requires braking, clutching and stabbing the gas at the same time but theres no issue with the bar getting in the way. One feature that was really the deciding factor for me was if you could use the seat on its own without it being connnected to the rest of the rig and you can! I love to watch Tv and game in the chair and all it takes is unscrewing one knob and sliding it out. All around I am very VERY happy I bought this and I see no reason to spend over $400 when this rig can do everything you need it to do.

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas to go with the Logitech wheel and shift stick. He is 6'2 and fits perfectly. I was going to get a folding one to put away when he wasn't using it. Really glad I changed my mind. The seat feels just like a racing seat and adds to the whole experience. No I don't enjoy a racing seat taking up my living room but he's happy so I'm happy. 6 months later and he's still using whenever he can. All his friends come over to our house to play.
Greatest seat ive used

Just Buy It. Greatest seat ive used. Super comfy fully adjustable from my kids to a friend that's 6'5 (he can't drive though lol) fits my fanatec great along with my backup Logitech wheel. Only con would be shifter mount not adjustable and difficult to build custom shifting mount off of it. would buy another in a heart beat.
A great sim rig with Lot's of positives, two small drawbacks.

I read many many reviews while deciding on a rig. I almost passed on the open wheeler. Very Happy I bought it. The seat arrived in great condition. Assembly was quick and easy. Real open end/box wrenches and allen keys are included as well as an assortment of hardware all sorted, bagged and labeled for a few brands of wheels and pedals. The seat adjusts smoothly forward and back and the seat back reclines just as it would in a car. The seat is covered in nice durable material, cushioning is firm but very comfortable for long driving sessions. The wheel and pedal mounts are pre drilled and slotted for many if not all brands. Adjusting the rig is easily done with rubber coated knobs and every adjustment moves smoothly while seated. All welds look great and are finished nicely then powder coated. The first drawback is the rig sits a couple of inches lower than a playseat so depending on where your tv sits you may be sitting a little lower then you would like to be. The second drawback is the pedal mount is not adjustable for tilt angle as it is mounted directly to the main frame square tube. I though this would be an issue but It is at a good angle and I have no problems with comfort or fit. Some reviews I read complaned the pedal mount flexed too much. Well they must have fixed that There is no flex in mine every thing is very solid. The main box tube runs up nearly the whole length behind the peddal mount. All in all I'm very pleased with this rig it should last me quite a while. Quality materials and very good construction. Big bang for the buck.
