Exactly what they say they are and very easy to install. I hard wired mine into the 12 volt outlet using wire splices which could be a pain depending on the vehicle if you don't want to use the 12 volt plug. They look incredible under the dash.
Update: Been installed in my truck for 6 months now and are used pretty much all the time I'm driving since they power up automatically. No issues they still work great.

They've been a great addition to my underdash. I generally leave them blue and I like being able to easily adjust the brightness. Color changing music feature depends on how close you place your receiver to a speaker. It works decently, but i have to turn my volume up pretty loud. The adhesive it came with was a nice gesture, but didn't hold up long in my car because most of my surfaces are too textured. Problem was easily solved with some electrical tape though.

I was a bit skeptical of how good this product would actually look in my car but after getting it installed I can say it looks AMAZING. It came with everything I needed to get installed (except for a few cable drops which I used to route the cable along the center console). My only gripe with the product is that I wish the 3M tape was a bit stronger as I had a little bit of trouble getting it to stick to certain surfaces (it doesn't stick to textured plastic too well). All in all, I would definitely recommend. Take a look at my pictures to see the product for your self (you can see one of the cable routes next to the pedal...)

They worked great for about two weeks then I lost all function besides solid colors and the remote is all whacked up if I choose green I get purple or what ever it decides to give me. Seems to be a good product on the LEDs and 3m but need to figure out the electronics and remote

Very easy install, the 3M back table could be stronger. The lights are very vibrant, I was not able to test the music option where the lights changes with the music. I believe the receiver has to be very close to the speaker for it to work. Only had it on for 2 weeks, I will update if any of the LED strain dies.
