Easy to put together, and makes the property clean looking. Cost more than I thought it would but the Wife likes it.
Worked For Us (But Check Product/Fence Diamond Dimensions)

These slats were easy to install for us, even though the fence was old. The fence happened to be a 4 ft. 6 in. fence but we chose to use slats designed for a 4 ft. fence, and we strung the bottom piece through about 8 inches or so off the ground, so that the tops of the slats would line up very closely with the top of the fence.
Before we purchased these slats, we had been warned that this type of product is sometimes difficult to install. I looked at product reviews from several websites, including two nationwide large home-improvement box stores in addition to Amazon. The over-all message that I got was that chain link fence slats may be either very difficult, or easy, to install. The difference is driven partly by how new/even the fence chain links are; but the biggest factor seems to be the EXACT measurements of both the chain link diamonds and the slats. (Small differences in dimensions can make a large difference in installation ease.) In our case, the width of the diamonds (distance between parallel sides) was 2.19 inches. As you will see from the product description, these slats are 1.094 inches wide, and are intended to fit chain link diamonds that are between 2 inches and 2.375 inches across. If you go to Slat Depot's website, you can find some additional details about their product, including a description of the trade-off between visual blocking, slat dimensions, and chain link diamond dimensions. In our case, we are getting about 65%-70% visual blocking. Had I chosen the 1.25-inch wide W-shaped slats from the same manufacturer, I might have had a higher percent visual blocking (80%), but slightly greater risk of installation difficulty on my older fence (though these might have worked fine). Or if I had chosen the Slat Depot Solitube slats, 1.437in. wide, promising 95% visual blocking for my size of fence -- but I strongly suspected that these might be hard to install on an older and possibly less even fence.

These fence slats were easy to install, sturdy and block most of the view through our chainlink fence. We did half of the fence in one brand and could not find that brand again so we ordered this type instead - these slats are not as wide as the others and allow you to see a lot more through the fence where they are installed., otherwise they are basically the same. However, we ordered two bags of these, installed them and then waited two months before we ordered two more to complete the fence - big mistake, price tripled. If you want these make sure to get all you need at once and be prepared for some sticker shock.

I ordered several bundles of the beige 6ft tube slats to install along my fence. Unfortunately, they initially arrived in black which didn't match what I already had. The company was super helpful, and easy to work with to expedite getting replacements to me.
I am really happy with the product. The tube slats seem very durable, and have held up well in summer heat over the past few months. They were also flexible enough to slide through the fence very easily. Even with the sections of my fence that is a bit bent up, the slats were bendable enough to be able to pull them to the bottom without much hassle.
