I was hesitant about what size to buy, but these fit great and arrived fast. I'm a size 2 and bought a medium. Very comfortable, wore these for a sprint triathlon, they worked great.

The print butterfly and such came off within 2 washes but I had read the reviews to know that. Worked out great for my tri sprint and I use biking on a regular basis. They dry much faster than my tritop. I have a pear shape body, hips 41". I went with a large. They somewhat rise up my thighs in the run but I think I pulled them down twice in 3 miles so not bad.

I actually ordered a large and received a medium...the butterflies cracked when I tried them on. They dont fit perfectly but they are for my first triathlon so I am keeping them to wear so I dont spend a fortune buying more as they are outside of the window to return.

Just used these on my first tri in 8 years. My previous pair were old and worn out. I like that they do not have the sticky stuff on the legs but still stay in place. They did great from the gulf swim, to the bike and hot and humid run. Can't wait to wear them again for my next tri.

I bought these shorts to begin race training and weaning off of using my heavily-padded bike shorts. These have a thinner gel pad instead of the microfiber cloth previous reviewers discussed. I was worried the gel pad would make running uncomfortable, but I had no problems biking for 30+ miles and then running for a few miles afterwards. My one concern was that there was a dangling thread on the exterior, right in the middle of the gel pad. At first, I gently pulled at it and it seemed to start unraveling. But it only unraveled less than an inch and then stopped. I think it was just extra thread that didn't get snipped off. It stayed secure and no longer unraveled. I just added in a few loop knots for extra protection. Very happy with these shorts and would buy these again.
