I had Maui Jim's and they were stolen. Thought I'd try these. Look very similar to Maui Jim's the feel is definitely different but for 30ish dollars they are a good deal I think. I've only had them a couple of weeks so I hope they hold up. You can tell they are not the same quality as Maui Jim's but they are not bad glasses. They are good to drive with. I took them on a road trip and around town and they really do a great job on glare. I would buy them again and may even try another color.
They were pretty good until they weren't

I had a pair of Maui Jim Ho'okipa Sport Sunglasses until on one afternoon while riding my Harley down I26 I turned my head to see a car accident off to my left . Woosh they were gone and considering i was doing like 70 on a 4 lane interstate I chose not to stop and try and recover them. That just shows you ...Sh*t Happens. So I figured that the next pair of sunglasses for riding would be less expensive then the $175 Maui Jims. I bought a pair of these sunglasses just under a year ago. I liked these glasses until they started to fall apart, actually they've broken twice. The first time they broke, the temple hinge that is attached to the lens broke away so I fixed it with some epoxy glue I happen to have. Yesterday the temple hinge broke apart and this I can't fix with epoxy. I also noticed that the other hinge is cracked in the same manner and would itself come apart shortly. I have attached a photo that depicts both the original break repaired with epoxy and the broken hinge that happened yesterday. I don't really think I could recommend this product to anybody
Light, great glare cut, great protection

UPDATE:
- I just took one star off: the lenses are very difficult to clean; I have two high quality micro-fiber cloths that I keep very clean but the sweat or any other mark on the glasses take very persistent wiping and playing with. None of the glasses that I had before did that. The best choice is to have a lens cleaner spray with you but it's difficult and dangerous when you drive.
Other than that, I stick to my opinion from my initial review

Very pleasantly impressed:
- wonderfully comfortable
- surprisingly efficient at blocking the sun / glare (including in the rain)
- unrealistically light, yet not flimsy at all
- they look very nice
Please check video for details :)
Great cheap option to replace my Maui Jim's

I owned a pair of Maui Jim's very similar to these and lost them last summer to the bottom of a lake. No longer looking to drop $120 or more on a new pair of sunglasses, I found these on Amazon. Very light weight, very similar fit and shape to my Maui Jim's. Not exactly the same quality your going to get from a $30 pair of shades but the fit is great, they are still pretty light weight compared to the Maui Jim's they replaced. Overall, I'll be buying these again. Best $30 sunglasses I've ever bought. That being said, I wouldn't spend any more then $30 on these but overall, super happy with the purchase.
Okay but not equal

I misplaced my Maui Jim lighthouse and ordered these as a replacement/backup. I did find my sunglasses so these will be a spare.
Pros: cheap
Light weight
Polarized and keep the sun out
Con: thicker plastic on ear pieces and nose piece
** noticeably close to the face*
Overall these sunglasses will work okay. As far as comfort, I don't necessarily want to wear them for long periods like my Maui Jims. The glasses are really close to your face in comparison to my other sunglasses, reading glasses, or el cheapo sunglasses. I can't just put them on and go. I have to adjust them. For the money, they're decent. They're just not the same quality as Maui Jim's.
