I use this for targeting knots, especially in my mid to upper back areas, in combination with foam rollers. By doing this, I pretty much eliminated my lower back pains using the combo by getting knots out of my glutes and mid back. Maybe actual lacrosse balls will give me a harder and deeper massage but this was perfect for what I needed and still use. This gives just enough give so it doesn't hurt too bad at first but you can work it in . It may be hard to keep aligned but with some focus and practice, you can really get the knots out. This is totally worth the money and I'd buy this for any close friends. Look up videos on how to use this and foam rollers and you pretty much have your own personal deep tissue massage wherever you go. The little bag was a great touch too.

It hurts so good! My boyfriend and my physiotherapist and chiropractor both recommended this product to open up our backs/spines due to injury and working out hard. It hurts a lot! However, it's a good pain - I promise!! Very high quality product and would definitely recommend!
Not worth the money.

As a runner and athlete I am always looking for ways to decompress and roll out my tired muscles. This peanut massage ball does just the trick. Relieves tight shoulders after a long day or works on tired legs after a long run
Effective tool for self-massage

I like it. It is easy to overuse it and cause yourself bruising. It took me a couple of days to recover from the bruising of my first use. So, take it easy the first time. It does what it was meant to do. There are a couple of good YouTube videos that show you how to use it. But you should experiment a little bit on your own, using both horizontal and vertical surfaces. The vertical surfaces, I found to work best for massaging the tops of the forearm. T?he horizontal surfaces, I found to work best for the bottom side of the forearm.
