Good product. As advertised.

I planned to use this holder to secure an air horn on a boat which is one of the proposed uses by the seller. In such an application, a user would no doubt leave the horn in the holder when not in use. The problem is that there are no drain holes in the bottom "tray" so any water, which is not unusual in a boating environment, will remain and eventually rust the can of the air horn and potentially risk a rupture. This is especially true in a salt water environment. A second issue: If you plan to use the included foam double-sided foam tape to attach the holder to a smooth surface, be aware that the mounting surface on the back of the product distorts to a slightly curved shape when the tray is lowered and the arms are raised. This is due to pressure imposed by the built in spring tabs that hold the tray and arms in their deployed positions. I prefer the adhesive attachment as I don't want to drill holes in my fiberglass boat for an inexpensive accessory such as this so I like the idea of the adhesive strips. However, due to the distortion when the tray and arms are deployed, I don't trust that the adhesive strips won't fail prematurely and unexpectedly. A failure would be even messier if you use the holder for a beverage. If you don't mind mounting this product using screws, then it's a decent holder that neatly folds out of the way when not needed. The arms are easily adjustable and hold their adjustment adequately. Be sure to drill a few drainage holes in the tray. I wouldn't recommend this product if you plan to use the adhesive tape for mounting. For the reasons I discussed above, I wish the design implementation was better as this is an ideal approach to keeping an all-important air horn in easy reach of the captain.
