I really like these magnets

I really like these magnets. I purchased a set of three of them to mount my Mossberg 590A1 shotgun with a 20" barrel to a wall. It only took two. One at the barrel and one on the receiver. I have it mounted vertical with the barrel up. The top magnet is just below a sling barrel clip mount. The sling mount keeps is from sliding down on the magnets. The main issue I have with these is the name printed on them. They white print rubs off on to the barrel and receiver. The barrel of the 590A1 is parkerized. So, it is a little rougher then a blued barrel. It would be better if they printed their name on the side then the top.
As I purchased three ad only needed two. I purchased another one. These two I put in my 5th wheel in the side of the bed frame for the same shotgun. The gun is mounted horizontally. Again one magnet on the barrel and one on the receiver. I mounted the magnets horizontally as they seem to hold to the barrel and the receiver better. The one on the receiver had to come in contact with the ejection slide as it has more steel behind it.

Small but mighty! I was not so sure when I first opened the package; the size did not impress me. Then I set the magnet down on my desk and it leaped three or four inches to grab hold of my Ruger Vaquero. I am impressed! This is a great product.

These work great, once I got my first one I ordered 6 more! I mounted mine under and to the right of my steering wheel in my truck and have yet to have a problem. The magnet itself it small so it doesn't get in the way or stick out. It will hold my HK VP9 with no problem! The only thing I would say is they could provide a way to mount it, double sided tape does not stick to everything, I do not plan on removing mine so I went ahead and drilled 2 small holes and riveted my to the dash.

Overall, very happy with this product. Magnet strength as advertised, works perfectly. Only had 1 issue with the product, the Gero Logo on the face of the magnet rubs off onto my gun, the white streaks come right off, but maybe think about moving the logo to the sides of the magnet? It would even still be visible when the gun is on the magnet that way too. Also, the "mounting tape" included in the box is worthless, every time the gun came near the magnet it just came right off the console of my car. Being that this isn't actually part of the magnet, I didn't factor that into my rating.
