I just had purchased a new truck and my wife was complaining that the tinted windows didn't block out the sun when I drove her to work each afternoon. She had cut out two rectangular pieces from a card board box and was using it as a shield to block out the sun. I thought it look tacky and also presented a safety issue because I couldn't see out of the side window where she placed the shield. I decided to order the Car Sun Shade and we both loved it. My wife says that the truck is much cooler with the shades on and that she didn't have to hold up them in place. I like the fact that I can see through the shades. I would recommend this product.

This is a really great shade! It sticks to your window like Saran Wrap. It is very translucent and it gives a lot of shade even though it seems so easy to see through. I attached a pic to show how much shade is on my arm. This is so helpful to be able to shield a little ones face or to keep an arm from getting sunburned on long trips. Although my truck windows are slightly tinted, it gets really hot in the back bench area. The front passengers stay freezing while the back passengers die from the heat. On a recent vacation through the Deep South, we put two of these shades up on the back passenger windows and it made a HUGE difference. I seriously did not think it would be possible to cool down the back but it did.
Very easy to put on. My son practically just tossed them on the window. Very easy to remove and store. You can see through them but through the mesh.

I bought this product because the California sun was roasting me given that I did not have tinted windows.
This product works as it intended. It blocks the sun well. It looks ugly on the outside but your eyes and skin will be super thankful.
I just stick the shades on and go for a ride. The sticky plastic part sticks well. The only issue is that the shade will be crushed if you lower the window, so you have some restrictions in lowering the window.
Also, it is hard to organize them beautifully, I just toss it on the back seat when I don't use it which makes the car look messy but that is fine.
Overall, very very very satisfied with the product and look forward to using it on long road trips :D

I bought a new prius which I LOVE but the one complaint I have is that the visor doesn't have that pull out thing for when you turn it to cover the drivers side window. Driving to work in the AM I was literally getting blinded. This does the trick - just slap it on the window when you need it and peel it off when done. It has 2 layers - the static cling one and then a thin dark one that screens out the sun. I stick it on the rear drivers side window at night when I don't need it.
