About the only non-positive thing I can say about this is that you really *shouldn't* need one. The whole point of a solar watch is that you don't have to worry about the battery. However, life isn't perfect. Sometimes in the winter with less light and longer sleeve clothing my watch battery meter ticks below the full reading. Or, sometimes I don't wear a watch for a while, forget to put it in the windowsill, and the light in the room just wasn't enough to keep it fully charged. When this happens I would normally put it in the windowsill for a day or so, or perhaps under a lamp by my desk. That's fine but this product does a better and faster job. It runs off of a usb port (no wall adapter is included, you need to supply your own or plug it into you PC or something.) It can also run off of two AAA batteries but then it only runs at half brightness, I don't really see the point of running of AAA batteries (might as well just get a watch with a battery in the first place :)) but it certainly doesn't hurt to have that option. In any case, great product that does exactly what it says.

Fantastic. Works like a charm if you give it sometime. Had been told by watch repair stores when solar in drawer batteries sometimes died if wouldn't work when brought out in open. Had replaced at least 4 solar batteries at about $40.00 per. Was alerted to this product and purchased it. Recently had relatively new watches die (2), one a Citizen and one a Seiko.
Was told by reputable watch dealer that batteries likely needed replacement. Used this device and both watches came back to life after about 24 hours and have been working fine. Tried it on 2 other Citizen's dead for along time and WOW, back to life and working great.
This is not only a wonderful gadget but it actually works and has saved me at least $160.00 in unnecessary battery replacements. Wish i had it before when wasted money.
Try it and you will love it. I have 2 now. !!!!!

An excellent product. My Casio solar powered watch would be a pain to keep charged without this gadget. This works well, charges my watch in a reasonable amount of time, and will enable me to spend more time WEARING my watch instead of trying to figure out how to keep it powered. And solar power does avoid the difficulty of your watch losing it waterproofing when you change the battery. I HOPE solar batteries have a good long life. I'm very pleased with the purchase -- which should be Amazon verified. Also it was delivered promptly -- arrived before the estimated delivery date.

As others have mentioned, the initial quality of this product is a bit underwhelming. I give it 3 stars for that - it feels like the cheap-ish Chinese made LED light that it is, comes in a cheap plain box, and does not exude the quality that a $25+ product should.
However...
The function of this is definitely 5 stars. It will charge a solar watch using AAA battery power, USB power (cable included), or 4.5V DC power from an AC wall charger (not included, but it's a fairly universal port that will work with many wall chargers). The rubber gaskets to protect your watch are a nice touch.
There aren't very many competitive products to charge a solar watch, other than hanging a LED flashlight above it to illuminate the dial. I'll keep this and live with the so-so quality in order to top off my solar watch on a weekly basis.

Came FAST!! Works like a charm. I have a Citizen ProMaster Dive and when diving it uses quite a bit a charge. The challenge was to get it recharged for use the next day. I was always concerned about placing my Citizen dive watch in the sun to charge as it would get very warm. This is an indispensable accessory. In the off season it keeps the battery exercised if it is used to recharge the watch one or twice a month. MUCH faster than putting it under a lamp. Of course if you wear your watch every day you won't need this. If you have several solar watches, you gotta have this!!
