My twins have not stopped driving these cars!
Rebecca E Jackson✓ Verified Purchase•July 31, 2023
Worth every penny! My girls have not stopped driving them. We have twin 4-year-old girls who fight over everything so we had to find 2 cars for the right price with the right features. The lights are fantastic and the music is great. They love the soft seats and that the navigation voice that tells them to buckle up! The only drawback is that they have to wait for a dry day outside to take a long drive - so the driving trips have been short carpet rides inside the house because they were Christmas gifts and there is too much snow outside! They love getting in and out of each others car - and I didn't know that the side doors opened before the purchase - they love that too! The front drag/carry handle is very convenient for transport. After looking at many models and different brands, I definitely feel I made the best choice possible for the quality and the money that we spent! And the bright pink color was a hit - what little girl doesn't love a bright pink car!
A Very Nice Car--Higher quality than others I shopped and found!

I had to pay a little more for this car but it seems to be well built and very nice looking. I got several nice comments about how nice it looks and works. It was a little hard to put the wheels on correctly but I finally got it. It has a nice radio, led lit wheels and headlights and rear lights. It has a leather seat with three point hitch. The radio has some tunes included and you can add an aux. device or memory stick or card. And the charger has color coding to let you know when it's charged. It even came with rubber floor mats. One con is it is small, so take this into consideration for your child's size. My grand-daughter is a small two year old and it fits her perfectly. The remote works wonderfully and the car even has a slow start to keep from jerking the child. I would buy again!
On time and as advertised! YES!

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely adorable. This was purchased for the insane purpose of teaching my dog to ride in it for tricks presentations. So the remote is an absolute must. I gave the remote a 4-star rating after initially giving it a 3. The three speeds on the remote are good and the backwards runs smoothly. My down-rating is because the steering is jerky using the remote. I find myself leaning down to steer by the steering wheel as opposed to using the remote so the turns are smooth. But other functions work well.
The item arrived as expected in the time frame promised. (Thank you!) It's exactly as described.
We didn't want or need the music features, so we unplugged it. I can't really comment on that feature other than it was annoying to us. Lol.
In the video we're posting, you'll see I had the front pull handle extended. It does fold under out of sight as do the wheels for transporting should the battery run down on an outing.
Overall: This is a great little car for toddlers (or a small Pug once the seating was rearranged for her comfort"”our final setup is not shown here). The included tray is a fabulous feature for little ones. The color of the car, red in our case, is very pretty and sparkly. While the steering feature of the remote is a jerky, the remote works as described; and we had no issues engaging the connection between it and the car. The seller delivered what they promised.

Very impressive! So many features! Build is good, but has some flaws I've noted that are important!

**Review update!!** - Couple issues with this model to be aware of:
-The traction bands on the wheels has nearly reduced to zero on all 4 wheels during the very first drive my daughter has taken in this car. Less than one battery charge cycle and the tire bands are nearly gone.
--The right side gearbox made a terrible screech within about 10mins of the first time this was ridden. My daughter did not appreciate the forced break but I was able to remove the gearbox, disassemble and found the issue was that zero grease was applied to the first gear post that holds the gear in place that connects to the motor. Once it was getting some torque on it, the lack of grease was audible and LOUD. I used the residual grease around the gearbox case to lube the base of the gear shaft and the issue has been resolved since. Will be buying MLToys gearbox grease to replace the lube in these gearboxes.
2 years ago I spent about the same $230 on a ride-on for my son from a different company. This is a very different ride-on for the same money. Super impressed at the quality of the body and all the electronics/lights/features. Here's some build info and general notes that should help:
Notes:
-We have the purple one for my 2.5 year old daughter. The purple tone is beautiful and has metallic flake in it. Sunlight loves it.
-The built in songs and stories (yes it will read a story as well as music) are all mostly sung to your child in a robotic monotone. Actually kind of off-putting. But via right-side steering wheel button also has built in music that's significantly less-creepy.
-Comes shipped with some assembly required: Wheels, seat, windshield, side mirrors, tray (in three pieces to be assembled), steering wheel.
-The leather seat is exceptional. It's sturdy, metal framed, and well padded. Compared to the hard plastic seat you usually get, this is a luxury car seat. And connected to it, a 5 point racing harness.
-This ride-on is sized and focused on an infant/toddler. The music it plays, its features, the scale of the car..all focused on a younger kiddo 2-3 years old.
-While gentle, it is pretty fast at full speed compared to my son's larger ride-on with larger motors. I think it's due to being light weight and having well thought gearing.
-The Suspension is just...COOL. But I think for an average weighted 2-3 year old that this is aimed at..they won't be heavy enough to compress these springs. Just a bit to stiff. But still totally cool, don't know how they will affect the ride yet.
[-Assembly-]
-Assembly was pretty simple. You'll open the box to find it in pieces but not that many. A bag for everything. Charger, some screws for the kiddie tray, manual in two languages, and a small double-ended headphone port audio cable for connecting media devices.
--FRONT WHEELS: Just pop these onto the axle, pushing in on the center cap button until it clicks and locks into place. Something cool about these wheels, they light up. The way they are powered is impressive. Each wheel has the wiring for the LEDs internal to it, connected to two spring loaded power prongs that then touch two powered discs on the car's wheel hub that power the lights when the two make contact. Very cool! But, make even more sure your kid does not drive through puddles or any amount that might flick up into these powered parts. Short circuit is never good for electronics.
--REAR WHEELS: These are a bit more tricky. The axle in the rear comes secured in a centered position in shipping by a big rubber band. Just removing the band with it's tension moved the axle out of center and made it so that only one of the wheels would lock when pressed on. To fix this, I locked one wheel in place, grabbed the axle(warning: a little greasy) and pulled it away from the car until I heard the lock snap in place inside the already attached wheel. I gets shoved deeper in than necessary and might need pulled back out to allow the opposite wheel to sit right on the axle in order to lock in place. Took maybe 2 mins to figure out.
--SIDE MIRRORS: Push into their locations and snap into the plastic body. Mirrors have nice reflective mirror "glass" , unlike my sons ride on with a chrome sticker for mirrors.
--FRONT WINDSHIELD: First, take out the mounting screws that are pre-installed from the factory, from each side of the car. Then, push the windscreen into it's slot along the dash snapping it into place. The sides will press into being flush-ish with the body when it's on right and then just screw the sides down to finish the installation.
--SEAT: First, remove the pre-mounted screw from the back of the car where the seat sits up against. Then, tilting the seat forward, insert the two tabs on the front edge of the seat into the slots in the front of the seat mount. Then push the back of the seat down until it stops. Last, on the back of the seat is a small black plastic part that sits into the back of the car where the screw you removed came from. Push the back of the seat in firmly to line up the seat to the mounting hole in the back of the car and screw it down to finish.
--STEERING WHEEL: Has two spring loaded pins on either side that will connect it to the steering column. First, connect the green wires to each other, pushing the excess cable down into the car as needed. Then push in the two pins on either side and begin fitting the steering wheel onto the mount. Notice there is a 'key' on the bottom of the steering wheel and associated groove on the mount, line those up while pushing in the two spring loaded pins on either side of the wheel and push it together. Make sure both pins push completely through the mounting hole. I had to use some force, twisting the steering wheel and mount in opposite directions carefully, to get one of the pins to seat properly. If one pin is out of place the steering wheel will very likely come off during use. Not good.
--TRAY TABLE: Comes in three pieces. The bag of black screws in one of the shipping bags will be used to assemble the three pieces. It then just sits down into the car.
-Notes for buyers:
--Left side of dash mounted 'head unit', has a read-out that will show the current voltage being supplied. This is a great battery indicator to find out other than waiting for it to get slower, how much more battery life is left before needing to charge. Car comes with a thermal protection relay that shuts the car down if the electronics exceed the safe amps or over-heat.
---Car soft-starts and soft-stops meaning no head banging whiplash like with most all others I've seen or used.
----This, while smaller than my son's, with smaller motors..is faster. This thing moves! Love it. But will now be forced to finally get my nerd on and up my son's setup to a 24v build with faster 24v motors. I likely will not need to do anything this Moderno model as it's already pretty much perfect for the age range of a younger power-wheels kid.
Hope all this helps! This is a hell of a great car for your kids. Wow factor off the charts. My daughter has not seen this yet but it is going to drop her jaw. Cannot wait to see her face on Christmas day!

Love the car but...
Darlene✓ Verified Purchase•May 23, 2023
We bought this for our 1year old, the car is awesome! Our daughter loves it. Only problem is that the charger stopped working after 3 uses. We had a very very hard time getting a hold of the manufacturer for a replacement. Then when we finally got to talk to someone they wanted to charge us $14.99 to ship a replacement charger. I understand the fee is we had done something wrong to make it stop working but not because we got a faulty charger. FYI It's cheaper to just purchase another charger on Amazon.
