The mat is exactly as described. We are using it to protect the flooring where we park our pickup truck. So far so good. The only issue is that it came with a hole, and the beginnings of another one, where it was strapped in two places. Because of the size of the mat, the fact that it was delivered by a freight service, and the weight of it, we decided to live with it. Hope we made the right decision

It was almost too easy and too flexable. I tore it a couple of times. Install insight: install it but done lock it into place. Drive for a few days and let it get molded to the floor of your car then lock it into place.
